regarding the 'jump into my arms' trick. I loved how she said 'make sure your dog's an appropriate size' and then gave the example of a great Dane. my Chihuahua can't even jump into my lap unless I'm sitting on the floor.

I always enjoy watching Maureen’s tricks videos. I love the way she interacts with her dogs: loving, caring, funny and easy-going💓
And I like it, too, that you invite the trainers you had in previous interview sessions for actual training films like this time👍🏻

Thanks! And I couldn't agree more. She's an excellent trainer that has a special connection with the dogs she trains. :) Very fun to train with and learn from.

Nate, granting your creator/production instincts fetching the right trainers so consistently (not least Miss M!), and the series being so high value, you need to consider starting something of a dog TV channel! I’m always grieved that there isn’t a canine news channel with features just like this series, Police/Military K9 news and stories, dog protecting/serving owners safety, gun dog and field trial segments, IPO/PSA/Mondioring news and highlights, responsible breeder interviews, breed/tool bans, etc. You’re proving to be the CEO of something of this nature!!!
PS. what model bait pouch is Miss M using? Thanks for all!

I obviously love bigger dogs (I own an Akita and white GSD) but I always say that the perfect size is something around Border Collie and Aussie, not too big but not really small either. Especially if one loves to do trick training as I do. Medium size dogs as Aussies can do literally every trick and jumping on you for frisbee or into your arms is no biggie but my dogs are literally too heavy for that unless I want my back broken 😂😂 plus I don't have them do jump tricks as often as I did with my Finnish Lapphund (BC size) as more weight is bad for the joints. So I just love that you mentioned the apropriate size, you are an amazing trainer, I love your enthusiasm. I'm the opposite and thus all my dogs are calm as well but I teach them tons of tricks and they love it ❤

I really enjoy Maureen's tapes. Her passion and love for her dogs is wonderful. Definitely going to teach Rusty the Wipe Your Paws and the Shame on You! Although I am going to rename that one to Go Hide! He already knows Toes although I had called it March. I have introduced the Army Crawl but put it on hold until he got stronger, which he is now so will pick it back up and see how it goes. Maureen had some very helpful tips to use.

I trained a Macaw "Shame on You", by training her to cover her head with her wing. I like Cover behavior for shame.
With how the dog hides it's head under a pillow, I would use a bigger pillow and tell her to "Go Hide". Then it would look like she was hiding, but pick too small a place to hide, it would be much funnier.
This was my show before I got old and moved onto Animal Damage Control trapping, and became a Beaver Trapper. I used the animal behavior knowledge to out smart the Beavers.
