Creating smoke in Nomad Sculpt
Creating smoke or fog in programs like Blender or Cinema4D is often done with a particle simulation tool. We don’t have anything like that in Nomad Sculpt, but we can fake it with alphas and polygonal cards in the same way we do with hair.
In this video I’ll show you how to add cool smoke effects by using a painted alpha from Procreate.

You can possibly try to load the opacity map WITHOUT a black background as a color map - as a png with a transparent background on color slot + opacity map on the opacity slot.
Then the light should no longer play a role.
