Every day Greg Miller, Tim Gettys, and Nick Scarpino talk about the biggest stories in nerd culture.
Love the Marvel Movies Reviewed series! It's the only show I'm willing to stay up until 2am, hitting the refresh button for. :P
Thank you! - Greg
Ant-Man was fantastic, I give it 5 Big Kids out of 5.
Nick see's any person with full thick hair, believes it's a terrible wig.
he's not just the president of Hair Club for men, he's also a member
To be fair Thor’s wig in Thor 1 was painful
Including the host of this series.
KF: Can't wait for Civil Mothrfucking War!
**They sing Jurassic Park's Theme**
Look man. Paul needs to be higher in Rank Those Abs. Why? Because who in the world knew he would have abs? Talk about being an underdog. You knew Thor/Hemsworth would be jacked since he’s a demi god. We knew Cap/Evans would be shredded because he was genetically modified from a serum. Paul was a pleasant surprise and deserves to be higher
Peyton Reed actually wrote the Luiz flashback scenes, not Edgar Wright.
That alone makes the version we got worth it
The best part of a Tuesday morning. We're almost done with the MCU in Review. That makes me both happy and sad.
Sanders
They need to continue this with something else. It’s good to see all of them together discussing a specific topic.
Nick made the greatest point that I totally agree with... STOP LYING TO PROTECT PEOPLE IT DOES NOT WORK!!!! NOT FOR HOPE AND HANK (Ant-Man) NOT FOR OLIVER AND LAUREL/FELICITY (Arrow) NOT FOR IRIS AND BARRY (Flash) NOT FOR CLARK AND LANA (Smallville... that one was for you, Greg) NOT EVER!!!!!
She wasn’t wearing a wig that was her real hair actually. If you look at red carpets and pictures of her from that time it was her hair. She actually said it was her real hair in an interview. Lmao to funny though
Here's my rank so far.
1: Black Panther
2: Winter Solider
3: Guardians of the Galaxy 1
4: Avengers
5: Iron Man 3
6: Iron Man
7: Ant Man
8: Age of Ultron
9: First Avenger
10: Iron Man 2
11: Thor 1
12: Hulk
13: Dark World
Baytuh You're missing a few.
I always though Hank Pym chose Scott, bc in case it goes south, he will be the one to take a fall, instead of his daughter.
TheTailow they say that in the movie.
20:12 A great moment in MCU in Review History
Nick: I hate everything
Kameron Anderson Beat me to it. Lol
Everything Marvel*. He seems to love every other movie in existence.
every MCU in review he tries to poke holes and shit, but they tells him the explanation and he stops talking😂I feel like at this point, he just watches to find plot holes and make fun of it.
Fun fact: I wrote this before watching the review and was not disappointed haha
@@MoviesinMinutes except the departed
I love nick, but why is his argument for iron man being more “fun” than any other movie that it’s pitted against even a thing. It’s completely subjective. “Guardians is less fun, antman is less fun.” Tim happens to like antman more than iron man. You can’t convince someone they had less fun with one movie over another.
To Nick: was Sean Connery's James Bond chest hair an upper body wig?
I don't know what I'm going to do with myself after this series is over :( #IronMan3isStillBetterThanIronMan2
Fendyy both shite I only like the first one
Fendyy saaaaaaaaaaaame. I doubt anyone from Kinda Funny will see or reply to this but can you guys seriously look at doing this for other series'? They don't have to be as long running or have as many entries as the MCU.
shout out to Tim for wanting to rank this movie where it belongs
Completely agree with Nick about the ex-wife character, one of the few things I dislike about the movie. Love this series guys! Best parts of my Tuesday.
Shoutout to the slow avengers theme at the very end. Underrated, but highly appreciated.
not gunna lie, the end credit killed me xD keep it up guys
The best part of Tuesday is going to sleep while listening to the newest episode of MCU In Review.
Keep up the good work, guys!
I think ant man is a better film than black panther because it's more entertaining and has less problems
14:49 one of the best moments in Kinda Funny's MCU in review 😂
Thank you for this, the movie came up and I couldn’t contain myself and I said yeah with the big kid and I just got blank stares, hence why I came back to this.
Andy's totally right about Elizabeth Banks. Never watched Lost so the whole movie I thought it was her but something was off about her...
Kinda disappointed with this episode and the age of ultron episode . While I get these films aren’t grander in the entirety of influence in the MCU (which is ironic for ultron), it feels like there wasn’t as much “discussion” as to what usually happens in these films and what people thought as opposed to previous episodes of MCU in review. It feels a bit like a glorified summary with five minutes of discussion whereas early episodes had a nice consistency in terms of discussing the film in terms of the greater universe and opinions of the film throughout the entirety of the episode. Still excited for future installments, I just miss the energy that was associated with the early episodes.
My favorite characters are Hulk, Hawkeye, and War Machine so it kind of sucks that 2 of them only ever really show up in Avengers movies and War Machine gets so few scenes where he is actually in his suit fighting stuff. Made the list based off of which movie I was most engaged with while I watched and which ones I was checking my phone, pausing more often, etc.
My rankings are:
1. Avengers: Age of Ultron - Solidified Hawkeye as my favorite, Hulk has good scenes too, and War Machine actually fights some stuff.
2. Avengers - Hulk and Hawkeye both play big roles and the final scene in New York is just amazing.
3. Winter Soldier - Fan favorite for a reason.
4. Iron Man - I love him building the suit and perfecting the technology throughout the two thirds of the movie.
5. Guardians of the Galaxy - Awesome soundtrack; Really funny; Gamora, Nebula, and Rhonin are all boring, but every one else is funny and cool.
6. Captain America - Love all the build up and exposition as to why they choose Steve and what the serum does specifically. Cool action montages as they take out the Hydra facilities.
7. Incredible Hulk - Hulk is just awesome and the few scenes where he Hulks out are amazing.
8. Iron Man 2 - Justin Hammer was really funny. War Machine actually got to flex his muscles a bit - his suit is awesome.
9. Iron Man 3 - I love the whole part of the movie where he is stranded in that small town with the kid. Final scene on the boat or the docks was pretty weak.
10. Ant-Man - Love Paul Rudd. Think you guys were a little nitpicky with the "plot holes". It gives us enough information that if you make a few assumptions it fills in the rest.
11.Dark World - Pretty bland, but has some cool Thor scenes and I love the world building of the movies so anything involving one of the Infinity Stones gets me going.
13. Black Panther - I just wasn't engaged with this one at all. Everything felt extremely predictable to the extent that it ruined the movie for me. Sets some cool stuff up so maybe if the payoff for that is good it might move up in my mind.
13. Thor - Pretty funny. No interesting characters outside of Thor and Jane.
The guy who played yellow jacket would have killed it playing as Lex Luthor.
TheOlympicHero1 no doubt
Post credit scenes are just getting better and better :)
If Peggy was in her 20s in the 1940s she would only be in her 60s in the 1980s. Not THAT ancient guys.
Langley M Neely Maths are hard...
people forget how young soldiers were back then@@MelodicQuest
Possibly one of the most underrated movie on the list. Not the best but I feel like it gets forgotten a lot. Excited for this one guys!
Quite the appropriate amount of humor in this one for the review of Antman
This is one of my personal favorites in the MCU and is quite possibly the funniest movie in the MCU too.
Caught up to where you guys are. My current rankings:

Nick was in a weird mood in this one, he’s by far my favorite to watch in KF, but we are watching comic book movies, trying to find what’s wrong in every scene are overthinking everything, there’s no way you could really enjoy these movies. Ant-Man fucking ruled I thought lol
the yellow jacket particle is different then Pym's Particle. both have long term side effects but Darren's particle isnt as refined as Pym's Particle. Thats why Darren became mentally ill and Hanks body cant use the particle anymore cause of maybe decades spent in the suit.
I'm do gonna miss this when it's over. Best part of the week. And best post credit here
I would not be surprised if they just decide to keep this going until the MCU is no more.
Super funny episode!!! The ranking of this movie was interesting to me. Surprised me when Tim said better than Ironman. I don't agree, but I can totally see where he is coming from on that. Antman was hard for me to rank cause I feel like it is even with Captain America: The First Avenger, Ironman 2 and Black Panther on my list.
Here is my new ranking so far:
1. Avengers
2. Captain America: the Winter Soldier
3. Guardians of the Galaxy
4. Ironman
5. Avengers: Age of Ultron
6. Black Panther
7. Ironman 2
8. Captain America: The First Avenger
9. Antman
10. Ironman 3
11. Thor the Dark World
12. Thor
13. Hulk
This movie is easy to describe. It is very fun!! Antman is super funny and has good pacing. Great casting and some of the funniest characters. There are some plot holes but they are never so bad that they bother me. My favorite part was when they find out about the Avengers Facility. This movie is not my favorite MCU movie but this movie is still a very fun movie to re-watch. - Zanfare
My Tuesday is complete
would've loved their arguments and conversation about the "sakovia ' newspaper easter egg in the bus
Andy's RDJ impression kills me every time 😂
"It's about time!" Hahaha! Best end cut scene yet lol
What is the schedule going forward?
Shirtless Spider-Man is Greg??? The Post credit scene has me all juiced
The post-credit scene for this episode might be better than most post-credit scenes for the actual MCU.
"Big kid" ranks among 2018 kinda funny moments
Man if there is one marvel film to watch on weed brownies though between this and homecoming best MCU films to watch if you're baked. Also you guys should do pot brownies and do one of these reviews as long as you can contain your laughter lol
I know its really late but in case y’all didn’t know and if y’all happen to ever see this his kid, Cassie Lang, become the Young Avenger Stature who was exposed to Pym Particles repeatedly so she can alter her size without the suit if I remember correctly...note im adding this comment 15 minutes in so one of u might’ve mentioned this fact lol
Next up, the BEST Marvel movie.
I know you where joking, but I would seriously love a weekly show where you rank the popularity of scientologist. Each to their own and all that but that would be so randomly funny I can't even explain
my ranking so far

Michael Douglas worked well because none of us have seen him since The Mighty Ducks.
I had more trouble buying older Michael Douglas.
Starting from Ant-man building up to Endgame. So thought I'd rewatch MCU IN REVIEW I had forgotten about big kid weed brownies Nick's disapproval of the wig.
You guys need to do Harry Potter movies one day. I’ve never seen any of them and really want to and it would be fun to go along with you guys.

Nick doesn't understand how an woman would be embittered after her husband gets thrown in prison, probably had to sell their assets and spend their savings in legal fees for him to get three years and not a harsher sentence, and he was gone for the formative years of her young daughter's life. They even said the house she's living on now with Cassie belongs to the fiance. He made a choice for the good of millions at the cost of three (himself, his wife and his kid). She can be pissed.
Every MCU in review should start with how it actually relates to the Ghostbusters
I like the movie, but the excessive amount of plot holes really annoy me.
“You need the girth.” Lol
Nick said Black Panther was Bottom 3 in his Review... Now Praising it. Trying to stop the haters!
So close Tim! Here I was thinking you were gonna call out that Spider-man's "spider sense" didn't make sense... but no, you went for the web shooters.
😂 The weed brownie comment. Andy your fired.
I'm gonna be honest with u guys.... I forgot ant man was a film
you need to stop eating brownies with Greg and Andy
Dear Nick Scarpino,
Go look up Janet Van Dyne in the comics, Evangeline Lilly nails the hairdo out of the park.
My ranking

2. Avengers
3. Iron Man
4. Age of Ultron

7. Iron Man 2
8. Black Panther
9. Iron Man 3
10. Captain America
11. The Dark World
12. The Incredible Hulk
13. Thor
Nick is so bad at guessing wigs
47:25 Kevin is wrong. It was not three months for Luke or else the crew of the Falcon was on their journey for months. At what point would those three months have transpired? 😂
I feel IMO that Ant-Man is one of the mid-tier Marvel movies; not one the best, but also not one of the worst. It had its cool moments but also it had its dull (though not as many as other Marvel Movies). It had its funny moments but also some cringey moments.
My Updated Rankings:
1) The Avengers
2) Guardians of the Galaxy
3) Captain America: The First Avenger
4) Captain America: The Winter Soldier
5) Avengers: Age of Ultron
6) Ant-Man
7) Iron Man
8) Thor
9) Iron Man 2
10) The Incredible Hulk
11) Thor: The Dark World
12) Iron Man 3
Also Ant-Man is one of my favorite MCU Movies. To this point my list is:
1. Avengers

4. Guardians of the Galaxy
5. Captain America Winter Soldier
6. Avengers Age of Ultron
7. Black Panther
8. Iron Man 3
9. Iron Man 2
10. Captain America
11. Incredible Hulk
12. Thor
13. Thor 2
6-9 could go in basically any order.
My rankings:
1.Iron Man
2.Black Panther
3.Winter Soldier
4.Avengers
5.Ant-Man
6.Iron Man 3
7.Age of Ultron
8.Guardians of the Galaxy
9.Iron Man 2
10. Captain America
11.Thor
12.Hulk
13.Thor 2
Nick thinks everyone in Marvel wears a wig lmao. I wonder if he thinks everyone has his hairline lol
Very much looking forward to some fresher thoughts on Civil War. You see, I’ve seen that movie a lot. I mean a lot. There was this Fandango promotion with Skittles and I saw the movie in theater literally 7 times. Also ate a lot of Skittles. I’ve also seen it at least 5 times out of theaters simply ‘cus my sister watches it a ton. So, I’m excited to hear the thoughts of people who haven’t been drowned in this movie.
WAIT!?!?! ARE YOU TAKING ME THAT GREG AND SHIRTLESS SPIDERMAN ARE THE SAME PERSON!!!!! this whole time I had no idea
Ol' Grandma Miller beeboppin around in WWII
As long as Winter Soldier stays at number one, I don't care where any other movie lands.
I was going to riot if they put Ant-Man over Black Panther... Y'all keep testing me, but I love you.
The Champ is looking sleepy, must still be recovering from the concussion the other day. The people's champ.
My top 3 mcu movies are:
1- Civil War
2- Guardians Of The Galaxy
3- Ant-Man
Gotta agree with Andy on something. I know the difference between Evangiline Lilly and Elizabeth Banks, but for a split sec, my mind can't tell them apart. SOMETHING about them looks similar enough for me to have that split second confusion, so I'm sure Andy is on to something there.
Kendall Hackney
You’re both crazy.
JEFFREY probably lol
You guys are crazy!!! The Break Up was friggin' awesome!!! :) P.S. Big Kev Dog and the Big Beautiful Kid!!! LMAO #HohoAndTweenkie
Funny, I mostly agree with the overall movie rankings, but would rank the villains in a pretty different order
I'm so sick of these movies having those awful Green Lantern ass training montage scenes in which the last thing they learn is the thing they're not supposed to do because it's too dangerous but that thing becomes the solve for the fight at the end of the movie.
1. Captain America: The Winter Soldier 9.5/10

11. Thor
12. Incredible Hulk
13. Captain America: 1st Avenger
Never seen someone try to pull off the "buttoning up every button on a button up shirt" like Michael Pena tried in Ant-Man. It still never looked quite right to me. Is this an actual style in San Francisco?
Also, Evangeline Lilly did have an awful wig and her face did not look how I remember Evangeline Lilly looking.
There should be a re-vote episode at the end for final arguments
Back it up...
Just back it up
I can see what Andy is talking about with the mouths of Elizabeth Banks and Evangeline Lily.
I swear if Dr Strange isn't in the top 3, I'm gonna riot.
It's definitely not going to be in the top 3. It probably isn't even in the top 5.
Wow. Ant-Man is great but I don't have it nearly that high. Another amazing show though guys!
Ant Man and Thor 2 are the only MCU movies I haven't seen
Falcon was never referred to as Pelican in this movie
Your whole ranking conversation underscores my point that you needed to re rank Black Panther. It was too soon, and you put it took low.
MCU in Review Greg = Best Greg
Wait...does this mean Greg is actually Shirtless Spider-man?!?!
1:07:50 Glad he said that to Greg😂
If you swap Black Panther with CA: Winter Soldier and Iron Man 3 with Iron Man 2 it matches my list so far.
Why do people confuse directors with writers?
The yellowjacket suit was mostly practical
Really enjoying the series, but I feel like you guys are starting to stray a bit. There’s a lot of people talking over each other, and the recaps are getting a little too long-winded/wander off the tracks. Overall still enjoying the series!
Everytime I watch one of these reviews, I want to rewatch the actual movie.
Cihan Gürbeden that’s literally the entire point of these. All of us rewatching them to see how we’d view them now and then coming here for their discussion. You’re missing out by not just rewatching especially if u get that feeling that u want to.
Wait.... Andy's never had mac and cheese? I can't tell if they're kidding....
