Not consistent with the art for the manga and anime but this reminds me so much of like Morrigan from darkstalkers or like early Yugioh stuff as well. Favorite combo has to be Driger S stock (minus subbing out the weight disk for ten heavy). Same with the bit beast. Driger stands forever 😂

I think it would be cool getting X Beys that are references to Cotton and FlameRose. This Gen is about the celebration of the series so reviving something from the game that came before the Manga and Anime would be awesome.

Love this idea of giving Combos to Bit Beats who never made it past the game or never had an official Bey. Some of my favourites are Vulpes and Death Draciel, I just think Foxes are cool and I guess I have an edgy side for the Skeleton Turtle. Vulpes has a combo in the games but no actual IRL real parts besides Wide Defence.

Looks like my kind of bit-beast. I think that old man is based on me 1:00. Cotton Bey looks nice. Great going on collecting it. I especially like that Cotton Bey uses Bearing Stinger's base because Bearing Stinger is my first bey. Aslo my favorite color is blue. Navy blue really but thats just spliting hairs. As for favorite Plastic Gen bey as a single bey, its Dragoon V2 if we arent counting HMS which would be Dragoon MS.
Definitely would love an English translation for the Beigoma Beyblade game, I'd certainly play it. As for favorite bit beast, it has to be Dragoon, I've already mentioned on another video or stream I am a sucker for the four auspicious beasts with Qinglong is my favorite along with the dragon bias I have.

Both beys are absolutely fanstatic! Its truly a shame that they didnt get an official release. If they did hasbro definitely would of censored the hell out of them both. These would be incredible to have in anyones collection.
Idk about Flame Rose, but Cotton would've absolutely been given the 4Kids treatment that Dark Magician Girl got if Hasbro had anything to say about it. OR, they could've gone with the creative route of turning Cotton into some majestic yet fearsome dragon with a different name. But given that Hasbro is... well, Hasbro, creativity is not their strong suite.

Well, I never thought I'd learn something kinda interesting about the olden days of my special interest. The existence of Cotton, in particular, is definitely a "classic Japan moment," and the Digimon inspiration sounds to be pretty accurate - although seeing humanoid Digimon designs in general is still personally jarring to look at. So seeing humanoid Beyblade avatars is also quite jarring to see - like, Cotton's design is so grossily out-of-line from the traditional Beyblade avatar formula that she looks like she belongs in a completely different game or franchise. I'll admit, it's interesting to think about what would've happened if those kinds of "Bit Beast" designs stayed in the Plastic Generation - realistically the popularity of Beyblade would've sunken significantly. I have a feeling this will inspire a collective interest in that Bakuten Shoot GameBoy game - it sounds to be a grand obscurity in the community - although it'd probably be for all the wrong reasons, lol.
About 1/3rd of the bit beasts in the game are these type of waifu designs. I think the series still would have been popular, digimon and yugioh both did fine. I definitely wouldn’t be mad at more people showing interest in the game, it’s super underrated as far as gameboy color games go.

So I suppose Beyblade now shares something in common with Digimon and Yu-Gi-Oh. Those clips of gameplay shown throughout the video has me thinking the Bakuten Shoot game takes heavy inspiration from Pokémon; particularly with the overworld, the mention of Flame Rose having a previous "evolution" of sorts, and the trading method to obtain Cotton in the first place.

The games bit beast designs are all over the place, you have what you would expect like dragons and animals and then you have waifus, mechs, trains, cars, etc. I think the designers had free rein to really do whatever they want. I did do a video a while back going through all the bit beasts In the game.

I honestly can't decide on what Bit Beast I like more, Ultimate Dragoon or Seiryu Dragoon (the main one we all know and love)

Yeah I think a big inspiration other than pokemon at the time was yugioh so it makes sense given the context of what was popular at the time.
