125 Heritage 48082 and 43073 Running at the Colne Valley Railway | DJI Mini 2 |

Recently i found myself aquiring a new drone, the DJI mini 2! With this comes new filming potential. In this video I have stitched together some recent running clips of our power cars preserved at the Colne Valley.

About Us at 125 Heritage : 125 Heritage are a group of volunteers based at the Colne Valley Railway in Essex. We are passionate about the Inter-city 125 vehicles and the iconic power cars. These were built in the late 1970’s and are credited with saving British Rail who at the time had a bad reputation. They were a marvel of British engineering but their time has finally come for them to retire.
Our aim is to preserve and maintain a small fleet of ex British Rail Inter-City 125 vehicles for use at the railway. The vehicles will be used for dining and special running days. The vehicles are air conditioned and there is a full kitchen vehicle which will provide a unique experience for visitors.

Beyond gutted LNER, GWR, Midland Mainline & EMR shafted the 125 fleet. East and west coast lines are not the same without these comfortable workhorses😔. Lord knows I miss them on eastcoast compared to the Azuma😖. Glad some heritage places have taken some 125s onboard & keeping them going faith is restored🩷.

Yeh its a small line the CWR but at least it can get a run of sorts. Cant go far. Does it have room to be stored somewhere.
