- This is me and my friends playing in a minecraft map in gorilla tag! However I built some secret tunnels and teleportation pads that allow me to mess with them.

Yea I got no clue how to code or any of that n everything looks complicated but if they added more maps like this to the game it would be much more fun
its actually a mod, pretty simple to make a map using software imported
There are a decent amount of maps that already exist. monke map loader has a website with a lot of them

I don't know about anyone else, but that end portion of the video where it was just the three friends running around the map exploring gave me some real nostalga. Loved watching it.

Something so great about how much genuine fun people have playing tag, feels like one of those games that's universally liked and linked with the playtime all mammals are hard wired to enjoy and any animal can play it, its so ubiquitous humans still enjoy it and find creative ways to make it new even as grown adults
We used ot have a large amount of cats(11) and they would legit play tag in the yard, leaping up and out of the trees running from each other

The map in the video has been released! The download for the map can be found in the FAQ of Apollo's discord, for which there is a link in the description.
Also, custom maps work again on PCVR! You don't need to down-patch anymore for it to work. (mods are still disabled on quest sadly though). You can find it in the official modding discord same as before it was broken.

by any chance could you share this map with us I think we all would really really love to play this with friends
coming from modded minecraft; If you want a map like that to look good, then you have to make sure that your texture/material/shader has no glossiness and make sure the texture interpolation is set to "none" otherwise you end up with blurry plastic looking textures.

U can make the textures more high quality using shading and changing them from linier to absolute. Or somthin I forgot what it was called but I just used a tutorial and learned a lot in just a few hours of playin around with it. If u decide to do this idea again I could help w/ making the render if u want

In Unity you can change the textures from Bilinear to pixel perfect and make the material matt so it wont shine in a bland color.
I fixed it in my more recent Minecraft vids

@@ApolloGorillaTag Perhaps the textures need to be redone with more contrast? Everything seems all washed out by the bright whites/pinks. Otherwise, this map looks like tons of endless fun!
