Am 15. Juni 2024 war die Nördlinger S 3/6 des Bayerischen Eisenbahnmuseums Nördlingen mit einem Sonderzug auf dem Weg nach Lindau. Bei Görwangs im Allgäu war alles (fast) wie früher: auf ihrer ehemaligen Stammstrecke, der Allgäubahn, bewies die 106 Jahre alte Vierzylinder Schnellzuglok und ihr Personal, was in ihr steckt. On 15 June 2024, the Nördlingen S 3/6 of the Bavarian Railway Museum Nördlingen was on its way to Lindau with a special train.
