Thanks for sharing the knowledge and sad to see some coaches clearly abusive in their approach to training children, though might not be aware themselves of their sexual deviation tendencies, hopefully by exposing them no one will ever abuse a gymnast or any child in training with big dreams.
It is different everywhere, but you’re right. It is also hard to work with children sometimes and hard to maintain their discipline, especially they don’t like doing things that feels uncomfortable, probably that’s why coaches “help them” to push through these. Difficult topic for sure. Harassment is another thing that I don't think should happen and I hope no child ever experiences it.
@SafoshkinFan Many of the gymnasts in my generation, who are 18+ now, experienced borderline abuse. However, reforms have been made to the culture behind gymnastics and the younger generation is fortunately exposed to the kinder side of it. I have been a coach for around 1.5 years and refuse to yell at my students or punish them with conditioning, because I want to help contribute to the reform.
Hello, Can you plz do a Tutorial on Ring flyes it's so beneficial for building straight arm strength, recently i gave it a try i couldn't keep my elbows completely straight especially in the lower part of the movement.
Can you make a video of effective routines? your videos are good, but they feel like there is too much hypothetical or abstract explanations without clear instructions of how to actually apply it. Thanks
Hi.im lean but i have a protuberant belly and i found out my transverse abdominal muscle are too weak what exercises do you suggest to fix it? And are hollow body hold can be answer🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I stretch passively and actively several times a day, particularly before and after a workout. It makes a HUGE difference for me.
Good stuff!
End-range strength training is a very effective way to build flexibility. Passive stretching is OK, but progress is much slower.
💯
thanks for the great explanation!
As always , highly informative material Thank you Adam.
Glad you enjoyed it

Hey Adam
Can you make a video on some stretches we can perform on rest days using pnf or loaded stretching method
Gymnastics is the most difficult sport because it needs so much flexibility
Thanks, Adam, for the wonderful video! ❤😎👏🎯🙏

As a gymnast, I remember propping my foot on top of a chair and then being pushed into the over-splits by my coaches
