Phantom's lines are tolerable (outside of the being held up part) but if they're empty, that's fine with me... just as long as I am able to get on Steel Curtain at least once next season!
Yeah when Steel Curtain's been down on a Saturday phantom's line still isn't that bad. It's got a good bit of capacity when they load the trains which makes the line move pretty fast no matter the size.
I love this!!! It is so cool that they're having an Easter event. Not too many parks do that I don't think. I am also happy to hear that we'll be hearing Renegade once again while climbing the lift hill. "The news is out, the jig is up, they finally found me, the renegade that had it made" Okay, I'll stop. I like Styx and it's my favorite Styx song. I got a little carried away there.
Eggcellent News. Easter is a big time in Pittsburgh Meester. In W. Mifflin when I was a kiddo, there used to be a house dressed to the nines in Easter decorations. I wonder if they still do it?
I was guessing Easter when I first saw their teas(t)er, I saw a comment that said a scrambler (themed to scrambled eggs) but I stuck with Easter and was correct. Anyone that builds a hotel right outside of Kennywood Park would be having a gold rusher with visitors doing 2-day visits to the park. One day for riding Steel Curtain and the other day for marathoning the Phantom's Revenge.
I haven’t even touched the world since that day unfortunately. Life got busier and busier and I just forgot about it. But don’t worry, I may return to it someday 😉
I don’t think that’s a new mascot, as it’s something that will only be there for this Easter event, and for kennywood mascots you didn’t mention the mascot of there logo aka Parker. I love everything announced and can not wait for next season, after the remaining visits of holiday lights are done. Also I feel like most knew that curtain was opening for 2025 that was the oblivious thing they were going to advertise for 2025, I was more surprised by the other things, even though I was able to accurately predict the Easter event thanks to one of their sister parks having one
well tuft is gonna be walking around…I consider that a new mascot, even if it’s temporary. And poor Parker…I knew I was missing one of the mascots, just didn’t know who 😅
@@RMsteelerfan7I never rode the steel curtain roller coaster yet the two times I went to Kennywood August 1st 2023 and I know it is was closed August 14th 2024 I hope i get to ride it this year for 2025 but I have a bad feeling by the time I get there it is going to be closed again
Kennywood just announced the closure of Thomas Town.
I think Kennywood should get a drop tower in Steelers Country called “ The Terrible Tower” after The Terrible Towel.
Cool idea!

I personally enjoy the Phantom more than Steel Curtain, so it is all good with me.
Yay Steel Curtain is back! But Damn no Scrambler ride? So where's SFMM's removed scrambler gonna end up?
Kenny has a ride, so why can’t Tuft has his own ride too? 🐇
Yes, I wish this park can have a Scrambler! They're so fun and forceful!
Tuft's Egg Scrambler? Sounds like a nice name to me!

Steel "Turd-ain" open on 4-12, closed indefinitely on 4-13. (They should of just shelled out for a B&M or Intamin in the first place...🙄)

Maybe the kids will get a egg hunt!! 🐰
Steel Curtain first ride for me baby finally!!!!!

Will mckw opening day be on March 23rd again?

@ Thanks for the answer!
I hope
When I saw the teaser egg, I kinda thought it had something to do with Easter.

All I care about is Steel Curtain being open
Is it sad that my answer to SC being open is "I'll believe it when I see it" 🤷🏻♂️
I'm calling for 4-13; SC closed indefinitely. Lol
I need a new coaster there r i g h t n o w
Maybe Palace entertainment may keep owning Kennywood. I don't know.
For now at least.
Palace would try to sell off as many other properties as they could so they could hang on to their crown jewel Kennywood.
No issues is just not going to happen
It’s probably going to have a major breakdown in July like usual and be down for the rest of the season again knowing that ride’s horrible history.
@ That sounds accurate
