I've still got my 2008 qashqai, still going after a recent clutch job on it. I bought it because of its beefier suspension, high ground clearance and high profile tyres (no more damaged alloy wheels). I told the dealer I liked the high profile tyre option and guess what. They later on removed the option.
Yep such a shame. Im not a qashqai fan personally, but i love deep wall tyres. Considering the state of the roads in the UK at the moment (i can vouch for the midlands) all tyres should be getting deeper. Ive seen a few new Evoque's on deep wall recently and i love them, such a breath of fresh air compared to low profiles. I hate when they remove sensible options
I have an e power Tekna which I think is great. What a lot of reviews don't mention is that the boot is wide so you can get your golf clubs across. In a lot of cars you can't do this.
Have a 2023 Nissan Qashqai 1.3 manual didn’t like the cvt ! Had golf dsg for 3 years that was like a dream ! Anyway very happy with the Nissan fuel etc and all aspects
Quite a good video, as always. I would take issue though with the remark that buyers looking at this segment probably are not that interested in the sportiness of the drive.
Hi, I’ve got £6000 to spend on a Qashqai it’s my first family car and I’m not sure what spec is right for me. I do mainly city driving to work with the occasion summer trips from Manchester to Glasgow or Manchester to Blackpool. Would love advice on which model I should be aiming for. I have an only 250k Honda crv and it’s just failed the mot and garage have told me to sell it due to the amount of corrosion.
made in uk sold to australia .Long shipping journey and costs , but is 10-15% cheaper including paint choice and local state taxes in a expensive city like sydney ????????????
I thought Rebecca was missing from cargurus and had to search twice in 2 months to get the current channel.Hope channel would rise the rank to be more searchable
*The reason I like high cars is that you don't feel as much the distance as when you are on those ridiculous low cars and you don't feel as vulnerable.*
Nissan fell down persevering with CVT, if Nissan had opted for a better Auto they would have sold a lot more Cars 4:30 even to me providing there top model equals other top model cars. Instead they new failure and tried to lure people with a warranty but not on paper a legal agreement.
Compared to the Renault Austral with which it shares a lot of the mechanicals it is a basic car. When the best you can say about the infotainment is that it has car play shows how basic it is. I hd a Peugeot 3008 9 yers ago that had more tech than this.

Mines nearly 14 years old, still love it and its staying as long as pos.

Never knew Motorpoint had a channel. Nor Rebecca on it. Saw an advert for MP review with a bloke.
'Here's the thing', I was actually looking for Rebecca, and I found her. 😊 Missed her reviews
I wasn’t looking. But nice to find Rebecca. Like going back watching the video. No bad thing. Clear concise traditional review. Nowt wrong with that.

It is a very good family car. Not too expensive to buy or run.

Fair enough comment David! - Tim

I have mine J12 Tekna B&W CVT for almost 12 month. Excellent car

Nice car

Is this the sort of car people aspire to now? Disappointing.
Nissan and most Japanese OEMs know there is a weakness with JATCO CVTs. They all use them because they are cheap.

😅 dont think a woman in the boot is good to describe the boot space ...... 😂😂😂😂 i see the 'helpful' scale.... but thank you for that comedy
CVT on the automatic version. Cheapo. No thanks....
No Very good. But nowhere near THE BEST ! The best is the Toyota Rav 4 by a very long margin …
Rav 4 is a lot more expensive though, so not really a fair comparison...
It's way more refined and comfortable than a Rav4.
I know those roads, didn't realise you were a local girl.
🙏
Wow she looks well the looks have gone
Wow Rebecca looks incredibly tired and worn out hope she is ok
Imagine a world where you could just watch a video presented by a woman without commenting on what she looks like…
