The sad part is that 90 percent of us will say, "Hey, that's great advice," and then totally ignore it. You two have a lot of life in front of you and I hope you're never too busy to find what truly makes you happy.
If you ask most farmers and ranchers they will tell you they love working the land and cattle. I could see the two of you with 5 or 10 acres in upstate New York. Some ducks, chickens and a couple of miniature goats.

Oh wow…this is a really great song. I feel like this is one song that EVERYONE should download. Such simple yet poignant truths for life. It’s a definite reminder to stay grounded in what matters (no pun intended-but it works 😁).
One of my favorite lines is the “watch their pencil marks and the grass in the yard all go up”. My oldest is 6 and I regret not marking her height on the wall as she has grown to now. I’m definitely going to start. May sound dumb but something as simple as that hits me hard. Time please stop!! My baby is growing too fast. Lol

As a farmer/rancher raising my family in Texas doing just that, I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
