IMO The best potion to level up Alchemy is Creep Cluster + Mora Tapinella + Scaly Pholiota. The reason is you can GROW all three if you have a place to plant them and therefore easily get an unlimited supply of this potion, a useful fortify carry weight potion, among other things. It is very valuable, so you will also get unlimited cash by selling them. It only takes a couple of days away in another location to grow a new batch and also to restock the traders to sell the potions to them. No glitch or suchlike is necessary. It helps if you can get or enchant some good Fortify Alchemy gear. This should include a circlet and a falmer helmet, as both can be worn together, giving you 5 items rather than just 4.
Yup and get free farm goldenhills plantation's far west from whiterun help ghost child and u got a lot plots to plants the one you listed....and sleep 3 days collect em raise n repeat and u ll get 300+ each quicker thats way.
Your alchemy skill goes up based on the total value of the potion/poison you make. So it's actually better to focus on maxing alchemy once you get some fortify alchemy gear through enchanting. You don't even need the strongest recipes or ingredients and you certainly don't need nordic barnicles and salmon roes. Once you starting making potions worth thousands of gold not only will your alchemy skill skyrocket but you can turn around and use those potions/poisons you just made to level speech. In fact, legendarying the alchemy skill and repeat leveling is extremely easy once you get your hands on a large quantity of ingredients.
Yeah, I agree that enchanting and alchemy together are able to make your character a God of Skyrim. In this video I shared my way of maxing alchemy without enchanting. Thanks for your comment🔥
I rarely make any potions besides Blue Mountain Flower, Hanging Moss and either Lavender or Bone Meal. I might make a handful of Garlic, Barnacle and Roe at most in one playthrough. The other ingredients are so abundant you can make them exclusively. Enchanting the weapons left by enemies is the real deal money making scam. I stop using Banish before surpassing one million septums in my inventory, but Fortify Health with either Paralyze or even Chaos Damage will quickly clean out every vendor in every hold. It's perfect since my High Elf duplicates The Black Star several times and uses Bound Bow.
If anyone thinks that only the Bosmer racial ability does the trick in harvesting Salmon Roe, rest assured, the Nord "Battle Cry" essentially has the same effect.
Wow. This was almost complete too. The best places to get salmon roe are Dawnstar and Solitude. There are 15 salmon at each place and they are easily havested. Waterfalls are for the very beginning of the game. Trick: In Dawnstar get on the ship and kill the salmon you see in the water. Walk off the dock and into the quicksilver mine. Turn right around and exit the mine and go back onto the ship. The salmon will have respawned and the fish you already killed will be there as well. Speaking of harvesting, the best thing I've found to kill salmon is the Ice Storm spell.
The best way to collect salmon roe is to use the ice storm spell or an ice storm staff if you're not playing a mage. You don't have to wait. The best place to get salmon roe is the White River between Mixwater Mill and Windhelm. If you start at the mouth of the river and work your way up to Mixwater Mill to the waterfall where you can't swim no more, when you turn around the river will be instantly restocked with salmon. You can get about 30 salmon roe per day.
In Dawnstar get on the ship and kill the salmon you see in the water. Walk off the dock and into the quicksilver mine. Turn right around and exit the mine and go back onto the ship. The live salmon will have respawned and the fish you already killed will be there as well. Collect hundreds in a very short time.
I just get the myr watch, grow some more tap, scaly pho and creep cluster. I keep going outside every 3 days to keep the chaurus coming back, and collect the garden herbs. I sell off pots to get some fortify alchemy gear to fasten the process.
Good day friend... You are WRONG... I just did an Alchemy video in which I only needed 108 of each ingredient not 134... you are missing a step... you must get a perk point into alchemy before even starting... this allows potions to be 20% stronger from the get go.
People probably believed that alchemy was a mage skill because basically every mage home you'll find an alchemist lab along side enchanting table I know when I first played Skyrim I thought it was a mage skill because of that until I figured it out on my own that I had it wrong that it wasn't the mage skill but the thief skill the whole wizard/mages in Skyrim was what originally made me believe that it was a mage skill boy was I wrong.
Hell, by the time you've collected your ingredients this way, you could've harvested half of Skyrim for EVERY ingredient, eaten one of each, then crafted potions to sell to buy ingredients to make potions to sell to buy ingredients, all the while leveling your skill... By that point, you prolly could've bought some Alchemy gear and juiced your performance even higher, enjoying the experience, instead of rushing the skill like a noob. If all you're gonna do is punk the game based on some guide, why are you even playing it? =9[.]9=

03:26 The Nord's Battle Cry works too to collect salmon roe that way.

Step 1: take 20 hours collecting ingredients
Step 2: remember to have fun

Imp stool & swamp fungal pod! They both plantable and when combined give nice expensive potion.
Thanks for your advice man😊
Too many people think alchemy is a mage skill, and too many people think Archery is a thief skill.
If I'm not mistaking the unofficial patch fixes Archery bug
