You mirror my theory that I've been speculating from the earliest episodes, that perhaps a temple on Peridea is calling Baylan which has access to the World Between Worlds. Baylan early on mentioned that he wanted power and I immediately recalled Palpatine's attempt to gain access to the World Between Worlds in Rebels, to be able to control time and history. And it seems obvious that next storyline will involve Ahsoka and Sabine trying to stop Baylan. The World Between Worlds also might be Ahsoka's and Sabine's way off that rock.
Now, I have to admit that looking for an access to the World Between Worlds is not something I thought of, but upon thinking more about it, it does make a lot of sense. Baylan is definitely searching for something that will bring "Power. Such as you've never dreamed." This is a galaxy where both the Jedi and the Sith have done some incredible things by using the Force, so it would have to be something pretty spectacular to grab the attention of someone like Baylan, who at this point is completely disillusioned with everything in life. The World Between Worlds would definitely fit that description, and there's something specific about Peridea that would give him some sort of special access that an ordinary portal wouldn't give him. And I think _that_ is what is so special about the Mortis Gods statues. They're obviously there for a reason, and there's a reason why no other planet in the Star Wars galaxy has statues like this; only paintings or carvings. Peridea is clearly very special, and I think we had three major hints about it (four, if you include the strange white light): the appearance of Morai, of course, the appearance of Anakin's Force Ghost; and the destruction of the Daughter's statue. Because I think that the fact The Daughter's statue was destroyed wasn't due to time's erosion. I think it has to do with the fact that Morai exists. It might be only a coincidence, but I suspect that the fact that the two figures who are dead still have statues while the one Mortis God who survives in some form has been destroyed is no coincidence at all. Remember, Dave Filoni is a Tolkien fan, and symbolism is a major part of Tolkien's work, especially when it comes to magic. Add to this the presence of Anakin, who was supposed to take over from the Father as the Balance in the Force, and everything points to Peridea being very, very important in some way. And I'm wondering if that importance is Peridea is the one (or one of the very few) place in the universe that gives access to a special area of the World Between Worlds: an area that allows access to Mortis itself. Mortis would definitely be a place that someone like Baylan, who is attempting to change things very dramatically, would want to get to if he is to see his plans come to fruition.
I think the staff allowing the user to access the World Between Worlds is a step to far but I do think it will be the thing used to get Sabine and Ahsoka back to the known galaxy just like Zeb's staff did to get to his ancestor's homeworld. Due to how important the Mortis episode is for the next season of Ahsoka I do think this needs to be recreated in live action for the people who never watched the arc.
The daughter died, that is why her head is missing. Ahsoka has the daughter's spirit inside her. I suspect Baylen is the Son and Ahsoka is the Daughter
I think rather that Baylon is the father, ahsoka the daughter, Shin Hati is the "son". This way it would portray their personalities better ( ahsoka=selfless, shin hati=power hungry, baylon=seeing the bigger picture)

Thank for watching Star Wars fans!

A flashback would be really cool...
Whatever “power” it is that Baylan is looking for at this point I think anything is possible.
Deep Force lore incoming…& I’m here for it…I hope Ahsoka tells Sabine about her connection to the Daughter of Mortis.
The pool of knowledge he’s looking for that
Yes! That would definitely be cool 😎
My biggest question is that how is it that across intergalactic space there is a depiction of Mortis?
I am eagerly waiting to see who replaces Ray Stevenson.

@@stege0014I think Baylen has committed evil seeds and isn’t balanced but rather dark no? Seems like Anakin may be the Father now?
@@RBGoodfat I see your point, that would be definitely an interesting concept :D
I wonder who is the mother of the Morris Gods? There’s the father, daughter and son. So who is the mother of the daughter and son?
Abeloth is the mother in Star Wars expanded universe. She goes crazy and turns into cosmic monster
I actually think he's not going to find no artifact or the world between world. I believe he will find Abeloth trapped inside the temple
nah, that would be way too crazy. Only the hardcore nerds would understand and it would be difficult to establish in canon
@@stege0014 bullshit..
@@stege0014 it wouldn't be difficult to be in Canon
@@stege0014I agree. I just don't see that happening at all. Who knows though.
