Hey Bryan, congrats on another awesome WR I love your titanfall videos and you inspired me to buy it and do my first playthrough. It took me roughly 4-5 hours and I loved it! Do you have any tips for controller players when it comes to slide hopping? ( other than play on PC 🙄😂😂) thanks and again congrats you're the fuckin man!

What happened at 54 min when steering the ship? Was it a ship outside that affected it?
I wanna say it’s because the ship that you are “steering “ with your knife is going downwards, which causes you to hit the death floor, but I’m not sure
Sometimes a ship outside will fly through the ship that you're steering. There isn't any collision between the two so if it flies through the cockpit then you die. That's why Bry will move off to the side after he moves the ship in other runs.
That level in particular has a fall timer associated with it, so if you're falling for a certain period of time the game just auto-kills you. This can come into play if the ship is descending for too long during that segment.

After watching the GDQ stream and noticing you mentioned the Quick Swap ability glitch for titans, thought I'd drop by and check this out in case there were any other titan techs you could be using. (Un)Fortunately, you're utilizing nearly all of the useful tech. The three things I noticed, two of which you may already be doing on purpose (it's hard to tell), are:
1) Canister Double Damage (technically damage rate) area: Positioning the canister so that the enemy lies between the center and edge of the circle causes it to (sometimes) deal damage twice as fast. Judging by the fact that you placed most of your canisters to use this, you probably know about it, but better safe than sorry. (46:26 was the only time I noticed you placed it not quite correctly)
2) Looking straight ahead with Flame Core increases the area coverage. Looking up or down tightens up the waves spawned, decreasing coverage. You're looking straight ahead for the most part, so you probably already knew that too; if you didn't, keep doing what you're doing!
3) The single bar glitch strikes! (46:36) As soon as your health bar went to full, I knew it happened and figured you might get surprised by "how much damage" you would be taking. This glitch occurs whenever you are both doomed and undoomed simultaneously. In your case, you got doomed and picked up a battery simultaneously. This causes you to become undoomed, but your max health is now capped at the maximum doomed health. In Singleplayer, that is roughly equivalent to 1.39 bars or, judging by how much they healed you, 1.25 batteries. It remains until you get doomed again, but you can easily identify its occurrence if you see yourself go from near-doom to full instantly. (My friends and I originally discovered it using Monarch w/ Survival of the Fittest, but it applies to Amped Batteries in FD and batteries in Campaign, as you have experienced)

Upon further review a lot of the segments are cut from this run, I’m an idiot
He's using a cut-scene skip of some sort I think. It skips a bunch of the parts of the game that don't require any skill, like the arc tool segment and the first segment of the second level, where you play as a grunt.
