Explorer Level - Grade 0.5
Correlates to Book 1, p.11
It's hard to believe that this impressive piece for beginners uses nothing faster than quarter notes (a few 8th notes in percussion)! Michael cleverly uses the sound of stomping feet and bold harmonies creating an effect that sounds harder than it really is.

I played this song on the flute in 2022 for my first in - person concert; due to my first ensemble beginning to learn their instruments during the pandemic in 2021. In a few weeks my new ensemble (including me) will be playing Celtic Air & Dance in front of an entire new audience. I love how much I’ve grown as a flautist in these past years, my old director would be proud.
I used to play this for practice in my grade 6 band class,it was my favorite song,I played the trombone,it was also last year tho
