In all honesty I truly believe that the plan was originally for these two get together and have them be a romeo and juliet situation. Her following Red and Reistler being the agent that he is. But the actress got pregnant in real life and the original director for the past eight season admitted that the actor playing Tom Keen originally wasn't suppose to had stick around as long as he did. And then just when they had the story they were gonna go with, the actress playing Liz said she was leaving the show so season eight ended up how it did.
Just to tack on to this. It’s not a bad thing and I didn’t read it as a bad thing, because as you go through the seasons, you can see the exhaustion on Ressler’s face as well. The bags under his eyes get slightly bigger every season.
liz has gone full berserk, and imo ressler should know better. she was comfortable with the fallout of her trying to kill reddington in that hospital by explosives, putting her fellow agents and even innocent staff at tremendous risk. if he won't turn against her now she will be his downfall. and for the record he would deserve it fully, for all the cruel stuff reddington pulled so far he never beared ill will on innocents or mere bystanders. keen crossed a line here for sure.
The only reason she needs a rest is that they going to have sex for the first time. I think is overdue in my opinion. They always had something between them. I think she just wants to be with him.

Cara, ela gosta dele, de sua forma doida mas gosta muito. Um lugar para deacansar apenas? Acho que ela vai fazer muito mais que isso com ele. Ele, é apaixonado por ela, isso o Red deixou claro no episódio 8 x 2. Não acho que ele vai trair ela, apesar de TUDO. O coração faz coisas que até própria razão desconhece. Eles começaram como colegas, depois amigos, cúmplices em segredos. É assim que nasce os grandes amores. A história desses dois é muito bem construída. Eu torço para ficarem juntos.

These agents have to forget who and what Keene was and concentrate on who she has become. Don't forget that she didn't know and didn't seem to care how many people were in that room when she set off that bomb. Sadly, she is also risking her own daughter because if they do find and arrest her they aren't going to just let her go so she can make another attempt.
What happens to the writers, ruining the character of Lizz. even if he wants revenge, he is not taking revenge intelligently. the first episode of revenge is absurd. even an almoadon was more logical, better to destroy their businesses. that would be an unyielding plan. I don't understand the writers, unless they want to ruin the character. I hope they give you logic after giving an explanation that it was to give a scare about the bomb, because it does not make sense
