Xiangke is unironically good in Pendulum magicians. It's a low enough scale, that can extend your XYZ plays and make an Arc Rebellion XYZ Dragon with 2 dark xyz materials, it can act as fuel for it if summoned, and it has a negate on light monsters so that lubellion isn't fusing anytime soon nor will a numeron gate increase anyone's atk.
In duel links it's a must have on odd eyes decks
I guess it's a good card, I don't like playing it tho it feels mad awkward

Actually people were putting in the Predaplant link, Red-Eyes Fusion, Red-Eyes Black Dragon and Dark Magician 4 card package in a load of decks until the link was banned

That’s what I noticed too, it’s one of my favorite games of all time. Played it on PS1. Played it on PS3 when it was added to the PlayStation store and definitely played it on PS5, I was actually waiting for Sony to add it to the classics catalog and when they did hell yeah I played it, and Twice!
Those of us that piloted Yuya's deck back in the day knew this is how you get Odd-Eyes Rebellion's full effects. Especially with his companion Pendulum Magician with her level manipulation.
IRL it was rank manipulation.
Literally the ONLY way to get off there effects, including raging eyes.
It’s dumb though that her effect got changed from “change the level of 2 monsters to equal each other” to “change the rank of 1 xyz monster to the level of another monster”. I mean the combo works but a level changer would be nice to have than a rank changer which is way more situational.
@@TheNewblade1 I used Odd-Eyes Absolute, so I didn't need her half of the Pendulum.

I love how the theme for indels castle from legend of dragoon is in the background. I should be happy that this is getting recognition but part of it upsets me the fact that it took PlayStation putting it on the PS store for this game to finally start getting noticed 😢

Back in 2016 I was a stupid kid and thought doing this meant xyz monsters used as material for this would transfer their xyz materials to the card you were making and so I made a deck trying (and failing) to turbo out rhongo.
I used to do a weird thing with Odd Eyes Rebellion Dragon in Master Duel
The first deck I bought was a Pend Structure deck and I was gonna make it work, I was looking through my cards and saw “Dragoncaller Magician” and thought it’s text was cool so I tried it, it was HORRIBLE. Dragoncaller Magician is a Level 7 Dark Spellcaster with 1 Pendulum effect and 2 monster effects, as a Pendulum scale it can change any face-up monster on the field to a Dragon monster, as a monster it can change itself into a Dragon type monster, also when it’s used as material for a Synchro, Fusion or XYZ summon, that summoned monster has the effect where if it battles a Dragon Type monster it’s ATK becomes Double its original ATK
My game plan revolved around using it in combination with Xiangke Magician and Odd Eyes Rebellion Dragon’s effect (where if it’s summoned using an XYZ monster as material, you destroy every monster your opponent controls and inflict 1000 Damage per, then it can make 3 attacks during each battle phase this turn) so I’d pend summon 3 level 7s with at least 1 Dragoncaller Magician, I’d summon a Rank 7 Dragon XYZ like Dark Anthelion Dragon and ideally use its effect, then use Xiangke Magician’s effect on the XYZ monster, making it a level 7, then I’d use Dragoncaller Magician’s effect to turn itself into a Dragon and XYZ Summon Odd Eyes Rebellion Dragon with 3 6k (vs dragons) ATK hits and an field wipe of any monster who’s level 7 or lower, it was fun but unfortunately not very competitive

This was the animes version of using XYZ as material for big bosses that wasn't a rank up. Unfortunately, the many cool boss monsters created that rely on this card absolutely suck but their designs are awesome

I put xianke in my master duel pendulum deck for this exact reason but I rlly hate playing that card it feels mad awkward... i'll propably try to get odd eyes rebellion dragon overlord and use odd eyes rebellion dragon exclusively to rank up into that card. On another note, I just drew odd eyes rebellion dragon irl which has no benefits to any of my tcg decks but still made me mad happy

He's also a requirement for Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon and the two similar Rebellion Dragons to get their full effect.
There's also zexal field, if you xyz summon any monster you can attach a xyz monster (from the extra deck or gy) to an xyz monster, filling the monster with more materials.
In fact, there's a tech in exosisters involving kali yuga and this card, all you have to do is attach kali yuga to Magnifica when she gets summoned, then pass, as soon your opponent activates anything, you activate her second effect to detach kali yuga back to the extra deck, and xyz summon him to the field, essentially skipping your opponents turn as he no longer can activate card effects because of kali yuga.

I just wondering why did TCG used a chinese name for Xiangke and Xiangsheng, in the anime they used their japanese name ofc, so why not TCG used the translation from their japanese name? Antihesis Magician & Synthesis Magician

I use both of them to my pendulum deck if they banish my synchro, fusion cards in the extra deck. Then i usually use dark rebellion xyz dragon and odd eyes pendulum dragon to summon the xyz pendulum dragon and i repeat the process to summon odd eyes raging dragon to wipe the board by its effect and if the boss monster is unaffected then i use its second effect to attack it twice.
How have I never heard of this
Or you can use zexal Field spell since that is a generic xyz summon effect to add xyz monsters as material so if you combine both the sky's the limit
Doesn't work for Raging and Rebellion as both must be summoned using an XYZ monster as material for thier effects to work
when you summon Number F0, you must detach all materials in all Xyz you use because it's not say you keep the material like other xyz that use xyz.

True. In Yu-Gi-Oh game mechanic rank and level similar but different by it star color and position of the star which level start from the left side and rank start from the right side.
Yeah, that's part one. Part two is using Xiangshe Magician to change your Xyz monsters shiny new level to make it equal the level of another monster you control or vice versa.
It's almost like you think most people didn't watch Arc-V, where Yuya does literally what mentioned.

How come somw shorts can be added to a playlist but some cant?
Not sure if it's a tournament legal strat or not (I don't play in tournaments, or often enough anymore, so please correct me if it is a no no) but I use some slightly more vague level modifiers (ones with more "make a cards level x") to go into anywhere from 3-5 in most scenarios.

@OwO yeah ur right. I only said a rank up magic spell card because I know you can summon odd-eyes rebellion with a raid raptor deck.
@@DJ-mf6ft very true. Yu-Gi-Oh these day make crazy thing happen and suprise work well. For beginning player take some time to know what kind of card your want and play it until change to different type of archetype while expect play Yu-Gi-Oh like some solitaire to defeat opponent in one go.
