I wish the sims actually gave you the option to do a proper rags to riches story like it wouldn't be hard too give you the option to start with $500 simeoleons and make you start in a generic lot and give you milestones like buy your first lot, build you first house, etc.

Is it bad that I want Kayla to add Stanley to her Save file. Like imagine you are playing on it, having a family, and living your best Sims Life. All of the sudden a walking hotdog appears out of nowhere at the park. You meet this guy and you realize he is a human who has never worked a day in his life, makes money off his hobbies, lives in a 4x4 of a house, and married to Izzy Fabulous

You should try getting rich through pets. If you have level three pet training skill, you can send cats and dogs hunting or chasing birds to get those feathers, and it's pretty lucrative

New Challenge: Make a totally new building, any style, from the Del Sol Valley museum. The catch: it operates the same as a shell challenge, so you can’t change the shape, only decorate to try and make something new from it.
this is all practice for the day when sims 4 introduces multi-level marking schemes to the game because then stanley's time will have truly come

Now that we can grow pumpkins (if you have Cottage Living) and carve them (If you have Spooky Stuff) you could make an actual chain like Kayla was describing, I think that you should do a part 2 of this using Cottage Living to plant and grow pumpkins and Spooky Stuff to carve them. Perhaps it would make more money if they were homegrown? I’m going to play test this and come back to this comment and tell you if this works.

If you make your sims crazy and loner you won't have to socialize, they'll talk to themselves when lonely
I'm sad of thinking about how little activities to this series are left.
there's still robotics, research and debate, potion brewing, making plasma packs, hosting events, multiple options involving pets, snowboarding/skiing/mountain climbing, making garlic crafts, streaming, performing different acting scenes, beach combing, magical insurance fraud(purposely set a fire, collect the insurance money, and use repario to repair damaged items), tutoring, tending bar, asking sims for loans and never paying them back, diving for shells, fabricating, fizzing, and probably a good mountain more I'm forgetting about.
Did you mention laundry, kleptocracy, realm of magic changing objects back, getting decorations and selling them, and or woodworking?

Can you imagine if she revamped this series on her channel with the rule, "You cannot use the Auto-Sell feature" meaning the only way you can sell your items is by using the Yardsale Table and the only way you can make money is by the mailbox, or Selling to a Collector and/ or Museum

If you give your sim the dance machine trait, you get the disco nap option which is really good at recovering energy quickly

It's actually pretty easy to become rich in this game by selling crafted things. You can buy a street sale stand in the buy mode and set a 300% price for your goods. This won't really affect how fast sims buy your stuff (atleast for me) and you can get an enormous amount of money by doing that. I usually sell flower bouquets using this method and get like 10-20k for one bouquet. It's pretty op to be honest
Do a get rich quick off of the decorations box! I was doing a rags to riches during winter fest and learned how much money you can make just from rummaging for decorations
