Does he mean it’s 3 phase at the house and one of the phases has been brought up to the summer house? I’d like to know if it’s pme and will need a separate earth rod?
Hi It looks quite a long run from the house so I assume it’s a decent size cable , which is bound to be there core at least . So It would make sense to put a three phase supply in , if nothing else it gives the ability to sub feed off if required . Also the proposed shower would impact the loading on a single phase supply . I must admit it will be interesting to see what the earth loop impedance is on completion , but knowing how proficient this electrical contractor is , I’m sure he has all those things covered . 👍

What's the reason for the install being 3 phase for such a small building
