Do the magnetic process one nail at a time. Polish one nail then use the magnet. Hold magnet for about 60 seconds…then proceed to the next nail…continue on with each finger after. Do a second coat with the same process. Use a magnet for even putting the top coat (clear). Also the round magnet looks like it will give you only the velvet effect, not the string line. 😊~Kim

@@deannegustafson I’m no patient enough most days. It works well but I did buy a 30 pound horseshoe magnet 🧲 and use this for THE BEST velvet effect. Love it!

Do one nail at a time. When the polish starts drying, the magnet won't work.
I use the horseshoe 30 lb magnet and it works so well.
Ah so it needs to still be very wet to work well?
@deannegustafson yes, and keep the magnet above your nail for about 30-60 seconds. It really is a pain and takes a long time, but it's a cool mani. It was so much trial and error for me. Lol 😂
