There are a ton of detailing channels but I find you're work and tricks smarter than most. Keep it up.
C’est fantastique. Bravo. Great job. 👍
Epic work!!
Stunning paint work 👍I love those vehicles 👌
Gorgeous truck! It really came out beautiful, well done!
Another great video!
the legend uploads again!
I didn't like the car initially, now I think it looks amazing. I am weird I guess..
car looked like a black mirror at the end, amazing!
this man is all about quality.
Very nice result there, challenging conditions too!
Great video fantastic job 🇬🇧👍
Great video keep it up and full support
Enjoyed the video and impressed with work ethic to detail in those conditions. Job well done 👍
Thanks Jim!
It’s quite difficult sometimes, as I’ve had it when the whole car has frozen over before I have even tried to dry it!
Really superb❤️
great job final effect wow nice to watch greetings
What a motor 😍
Great video as always 👍
All the best to you
Thanks Michael 👍🏼
Much appreciate!
Good Job ❤️
Grand job, even with the cold 🥶 weather
Thanks Michael 👍🏼
It’s always coldest first thing but that’s usually when I’m cleaning the exterior 🤦🏽♂️
Harper, just want to say thanks for all the tips and advice. I recently reached out to a local detailer offering to take him out to lunch in return for some small advice as I start out with my business, and he left me on read. Glad to know there are good people in this industry!! You rock!
Thanks Cam! That's very kind and i'm glad you find the videos useful.
I hope everything goes well with the business!
Any R
Wow, how well did that come out!! Shots at the end were fantastic
It’s come out alright hasn’t it!
A wasn’t expecting this turn around from a single stage but I suppose that’s the positive side of soft paint 👌🏼
End results look incredible
Thanks Alan 👍🏼
The difference in that first pass is incredible. Must be a nice feeling to see results like that after a quick going over
I work on so many Land Rover/Range Rovers so I’ve really dialled in the combo.
Such a difference isn’t it 👌🏼
Wow just to reiterate what someone else commented, great job and outstanding work ethic to be out there literally while the water is freezing and still providing amazing results 😮 👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks Sabrina, that’s very kind 👍🏼
@@HarpersCarDetailing love the content! Stay warm!! 🙏🏻
As always what a wonderful job. I know how tough that metal flake finish is to work on. It really makes it difficult to see your work. After seeing how you were doing this comes spring time I'm going to try this on my Harley. Some years back I had a major repair and the dealership thinking they were doing me a favor polished and detailed the bike. When I got it back there's all sorts of swirl marks in the paint. I have tried different things and different products. Every time I think I have it I can see the swirl marks in certain light. So this time I'm going to check my work as I go on and even use a electric buffer.
Also great job and not letting the cold weather stop you. I'm on the east coast of the United States and right now it's 14 degrees Fahrenheit 10 degrees Celsius. That's just a little too cold for me even in my garage. That's why I said I will try the way you did it in the spring.
As always I enjoyed your video and of course I hit the thumbs up. I've already been a subscriber so I cannot hit that button again. Look forward to your next video.
Thanks David!
Metallic paint is a dream to work on; it's the solid finishes which are very difficult!
What combination of pad and compounds/finishing polishes are you using?
I'm used to the colder weather now, but it sometimes makes it testing. The polish reacts differently in the cold and coatings can be left on the panels for longer so there's quite a few things to think about.
Thank you for subscribing, i'm glad you find the videos useful!!
Far from perfect conditions to wash a car, -1° !
It's a miracle you got anything done at all!
It’s ok until the wind picks up, then it’s really cold!
Cracking job 👍 seen a few Urban Defenders, love them, especially in metallic black
They are lovely aren’t they!
I wasn’t a fan at first but they have grown on me 👌🏼
Great job
Love the videos, I will ask if those brushes are a bit hard for the gloss black wheels? Great job tho!
Actually I think they're more satin.. Ignore me haha
Thanks man 👍🏼
Yeah the wheels are satin so these brushes are fine.
They would be a little too aggressive on gloss black, but pretty much anything is! You look at gloss black and they scratch!
TOP MARKS MATE 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾🔥🔥🔥
Great work again Nick.,. Just after you raised the vehicle ride height.. You sprayed the wheels.... What did you use this time 🤔
Thanks Owen 👍🏼
I ran out of my usual wheel cleaner, so used an older one that I had left. Ultimate Finish Wheel cleaner. Very good cleaner 👌🏼
@@HarpersCarDetailing fair play..... Make use of and never waste.... Products are good too with UF👏... Thanks Nick have a nice evening and a great week
Now you just showing off🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks man 👊🏼
i dont think people mention it enough about cleaning pads during this whole process
awesome job ...have you tryed any of the p&s products?
Thanks Gareth.
I’ve only tried their bead maker. Very slick quick detailer 👌🏼
@@HarpersCarDetailing there interor cleaner is realy good 💪
so i after i polish i will need to use oil remover and then wax/ coat right?
That’s right. Unless you are using a Carnuba only was as they bond better to oily surfaces 👍🏼
Tell me, how long does this paint correction typically last? Do the swirls and imperfections eventually come back? Thanks for the info :) nice work 👍
Swirls and scratches are put in by wrong maintenance. If washed perfectly, swirls will never come back and paint correction is not needed ever again. However, in real life, when maintaining a car properly, polishing every 2 years after claying will prbably be necessary. In the end, it all depends on how you wash and dry it, and whether there is need for claying.
Absolutely agree with @jaap hoogendijk here.
If washed correctly in theory you won’t have to machine again.
Great vid, what are all the polishers that you use, and how do you rate them?
Shine mate ex620 and their 3 inch.
The 1 inch is a A1000.
I use a Vertool forced rotation as well.
Really rate them all.
I use to use Rupes but in all honesty I prefer these
@@HarpersCarDetailing Cheers, How is the 620 ? Would you say its good still for a weekend warrior like me or is it too powerful ?
It’s very good.
It would be really good for you.
You can adjust the speed with the dial, the actual power just means that it doesn’t stall as much on curved edges which would be great for you 👍🏼
Nice , is landrover paint soft
Thanks 👍🏼 it’s certainly is. Lovely to work on 👌🏼
The gloss on that Defender is insane Harper. Do detailers dislike working on black paint? Seems so unforgiving compared to white and silver
Thanks Jeffrey 👍🏼
I only working on black metallic paint but hate any solid black paint!
@@HarpersCarDetailing incredibly thorough.I dig how you edit your videos vs speeding them up. In my opinion that’s lazy
hi nick I hope you are well, so how long did you do this job, i have a BMW x7 and have so many accessories and trim to clean but I going to put zymol vintage instead ceramic, thanks
It’s all about the foam
Have you had any issues with your turbo nozzle 🙈😂, mine only seems to be firing out as a jet?
No non at all.
It might be clogged. Try run it under some water.
Turbo nozzle that's what she said....
I'll find my way out.....
G'day Nick i bought some KKD glass cleaner bubblegum smell to it on your recommendations
And some Garage Therapy products from the UK price was good but the shipping to Australia
I had to sell a kidney, but I'll live 🇦🇺👍

Yes they are fully waterproof.

#1 rule to detail a car, wash it inside bro!
No at all.
Know how to wash a car outside.
Not every client has the facility to have their car washed inside
