In this video I go through how I perform a deep clean on a Airbus AS355N Helicopter.
The helicopter is based in London and very rarely in Yorkshire, so I jumped at the opportunity to give it a thorough clean.
It’ slightly different from my usual car detailing videos but I hope you enjoy.

They are the same helicopter.
Not sure if they are named differently in the USA compared to the UK
@@HarpersCarDetailing that’s not correct. The H-125 is a single engine formally known as the as350. The helicopter you washed is an as355N twin squirrel or twin star not an H-125.

Very nice. I have a chopper that I need to get done as well, but mine needs to be polished too. The paint on that one looks sharp as heck! There's just so much surface area to polish, I'm dreading starting it!
They take quite a while to polish.

I didn't know I needed to see a helicopter being cleaned, until i saw this 😂. Its funny actually, i spotted that helicopter in the background if one of your earlier videos and did think, clean that then 😂😂. All the best.

This was a Gtecnhiq microfibre wash mitt 👍🏼

What did you use for the tail rotor ? because there is a lot of oil residue on it
I haven’t touched the rotors as agreed with my client (they terrify me) but I would use either Bilt Hamber Surfex or any tar and glue remover
@@HarpersCarDetailing you must read the airbus maintenance manual for “approved” degreasers before applying any soap to composite materials.
@eds6889 all of the chemicals I have used are safe, and also cleared with both pilots.
They also aren’t ’soap’
@@HarpersCarDetailing you missed the key word “approved”. Permission from the pilot is not approval from Airbus.
