Suriwongse hotel, located on Loi Kroh road was my favourite place to stay when I visited Chiang Mai. This video takes a look at the Premier Deluxe room, the hotel facilities and also the surrounding area.

Suriwongse hotel is guest friendly, just like every other Bkk112 recommended hotel ;)
Many rooms were updated in the spring of 2017 and when I visited they were in the midst of the renovation.
Staying on or near Loi Kroh road is very convenient and is what I recommend if you are visiting Chiang Mai.

Looks nicely renovated. Stayed here 20+ years ago when it was 2-3 star hotel. Room was about 1,000 baht back then.
Just for giggles you should blacklight the room to highlight any body fluids. I bet every room there would glow brightly.

ive seen loads of videos and think your spoiling your self as this is the best pad ive seen you staying it. id stay here very poosh lets hope you dont get jibbed off as i love watching your vids when im not well i think ive seen all of them nearly anyway ! just need some monies and to be well enough to come over and see all these crazy ppl ! x

It is almost about like being in America on vacation. Hotels there in Thailand are every bit as nice as you get here in the States for about the same price maybe a little cheaper and you have BurgerKing, McDonalds, Subway and Starbucks all within walking distance of the front entrance of your hotel. Nice.
Usually stay at Raming Lodge but this looks nicer.

the TV isn't that bad, at least its flat screen and mounted. 320 baht for a burger is expensive!
Awesome room and video! I'm always torn about getting a really nice hotel room. I just got back from San Jose, Costa Rica where I had an amazing corner room on the 14th floor. On the one hand I want to be comfortable and I appreciate all the amenities, but on the other hand I try to spend as little time in the room as possible, so it kind of seems like a waste. Great video, I appreciate your hard work!
My budget is usually $30ish for hotels as I don't have the wallet for 4 and 5-star places. On this one I splurged and was very happy to get the upgrade. So nice having a soak in a hot bath after not having one for nearly a year! Thanks for watching.
I hear you on the budget. My room in CR was an upgrade by the hotel that I didn't find out about until I got there. When I first walked in to the room I thought, "They must have me confused with someone else!" lol. Thanks for the great work! :)

All are good and recommended, depends on your own preference and budget. Raming and Suriwongse are on Loi Kroh road so if you are drinking a lot in the evenings they are very convenient. I tried to stay at Raming lodge but they were fully booked when I went so that speaks volumes. Thanks for watching.
Bangkok 112 nope not for drinking for massage parlours nd red light district n also 1000 baht to 1300 baht my budget...
