Literally can feel the motion of the vehicle, the cold/heat effects and feel the air launched directly at me still while watching this. Absolutely love this. Such a memorable ride at Universal
My family loved this ride at Unversal! We rode it twice. The 2nd time my dad told me to look out to the left and right of the car after the ride started. On each side of us, there were long rows of other DeLoreans full of people, and we were all hovering in front of a giant movie screen. I hadn't realized how big this ride was! They did a wonderful job of making it seem like you and the people in your car were the only ones going on this awesome adventure. And for a ride to last 10 minutes is almost unheard of today. Great ride, great memory!
Thomas F Wilson looks like he’s having so much fun as Biff. Just hamming it up to the Max. Christopher Lloyd is of course brilliant as always as Doc Brown. What a wonderful thing to be preserved. Shame we can’t ever experience it again.
And also, Griff Tannen, a 19 year old Boy who lives in 2015 would know more about how to operate a Delorean (Flying Car Time Machine) than a 1955 18 year old Boy like Biff Tannen..
To be fair, the Gears in the Security Scientist head is turning as he does keep looking at Biff suspiciously in that scene. Biff's suspicious body language isn't helping him out... He is avoiding eye contact and suspiciously putting his finger in his mouth in an attempt to look "Normal," the ONLY thing more Suspicious would be Biff constantly turning his head so they don't get a good view of him... The Security Scientist and the normal Scientist DO soon put two and two together and chase Biff who ends up throwing Marbles on the ground and they both trip....

@@lindahammond7759I didn't know about the Contract problem between Michael J Fox and Universal. 🤔 I assumed that the reason Marty/Michael wasn't in the BTTF Ride video was because of Michael's Parkinson's Disease that had already started. My OC, Martha went on this ride in 1994, and when the dinosaurs came up, she started singing The Flintstones theme and barking like Dino. Everyone laughed.
The last time I went to Universal was back in 2006 and this and the Terminator 2 rides were some of my favorites! I wish I could have gone again before they got rid of them, but at least I have RUclips to live vicariously through
I went on this ride early 2000’s. It was a fun ride. I did got a feeling of stopping it and just run the picture of it. It was my first trip towards Orlando Florida where my sister lives at. It was my first airplane ride. I was 29 years old and I was acting liked that I was 6 years old in an adult body.
We really enjoyed the ride and returned with our children in 2007 to ride on it. They are big BTTF fans and were looking forward to it. The shock of discovering it had been closed in favour of the 'Simpsons experience' ruined our holiday. We were waiting in line for another ride and the park employee asked if we were enjoying the rides. I said that it was a mistake to have removed the BTTF ride and she asked if the other people there were looking forward to the SE. Not one person said they were and several others complained about the removal of the BTTF ride.
I wish the people who runs Universal Studios in Hollywood, California and Orlando, Florida nowadays had still kept the Back to the Future ride around to this day, because it's those kind of theme park attractions that today's generations should be enjoying when they and their families go to Universal Studios. They have absolutely no idea what they're missing out on.

@@ThemeParkGroupie I miss the BTTF ride, too. I especially loved seeing the DeLorean parked out in front of the ride. That was the best ever. 😊
This was my favorite ride when I went to Disney and Universal at 7 years old. So fun.
I miss it! 😢
I only can remember a few bits of this, I was just a kid at the time in 05 or 06 when I went to Universal with my family in California. But it's great to see this after it's closure. It was a great ride.
Yeah, it was fantastic. I really do miss it.
rode the ride a few times came back the following year saw it getting a new ride , thx SIMPSONS
😭😭 I miss BTTF!
I absolutely LOVED this ride! Thank you so much for uploading this to youtube!
No problem! I miss it like crazy. 😭
It was my most amazing experience at the parks when I went in the 90s. This just bought back so many memories . Bless you .
Absolutely! I miss it so much. 😭
got to ride this in like 1991 with my cousin, we couldn't stop laughing after 10:44 "your in good hands" then something exploded. LOL
🤣🤣 So great! I miss it. 💔
I miss these days so much, wish I could’ve shown my kids this in person
For real. I just wish they could/would reverse the Simpsons change. 🥲
I miss this ride and Kongfrontation and Jaws and earthquake the big one and Terminator 2 3D adventure.
Same! I wish I could ride all of these rn. 😭
I remember that ride. First family holiday to America! . Such a fun experience.
That’s a great memory! I do miss it a lot. 😭
10:42 - Watching the actual ride on my TV for the first time was a trip!!!
I wasn’t expecting it to be that good!
I miss it so much!
July 1993, LA Universal Studios. We were on a road trip through the US. This was the best experience I ever had in a theme park. Will never forget it. Greetings
Thanks for sharing! I miss it so much.
I really hope they bring this ride back, I always made sure to do this back in the day, it was a favorite of mine.
For real!! I miss it. 💔
They brought Kong back so theres always hope
Yeah, that’s true! I didn’t think about that.
I love the simpson ride but this was the frist ride I remember riding at universal so it holds a place in my heart
I miss it so much!
This ride closed before I was even born, good to see it on RUclips. Wish I could have experienced it myself though.
Aww, I wish you could’ve tried it too. 😭
Yaa man it was just the greatest that all the original shows and rides where the greatest but this and jaws where my favorites
Thomas F Wilson is so great in this. Hell he’s great in all the films, fantastic actor.
Yeah, he really is!
So glad I actually got to experience this fantastic ride. So much better than The Simpsons ride that replaced it. Wish Universal would change it back.
I couldn’t agree more. 🥲
Main reason I loved going to Universal, thanks for sharing, so many good memories, miss waiting in the rooms staring at the hoverboards, haha
Same here! I miss it. 😭
In the Rough Draft, when Biff is pleading for Doc's help, Doc says something like ,"You locked me in my own office and stole the Delorean and called me a Loser! Why should I help you?" Biff, panicked, replies, "I didn't mean it! Please help me!" :D
😂🤣
@@ThemeParkGroupie :) Biff goes from being a Tough, Taunting Thug to a scared Kid in just minutes! :D
Doc ain't that Cold blooded even if it's biff. And keep in mind this Biff is still a Teen, hence why he stowed away from 1955.
@@phillipwalling7470 Which is why it was just the Rough Draft. :) I couldn't see Doc asking a panicking Teenager why he should help him.... ;)
@@MarySmith-lv3mo Well, glad they went with the final one. The Draft made Doc very Vengeful, which ain't his character.
Am I the only person who gets goosebumps from the sounds that the Delorean makes? The people who created the sounds, if you ever read this, thank you for your hard work. I truly appreciate it
I'm glad it's not just me!!
@@ThemeParkGroupie That’s because you rock! Thank you so much for this, you have no idea how awesome it is to watch this and every time I see it go back to the day I went on it. I can’t thank you enough! ✌🏾💙🙏🏾🤩
@@omni201 No problem! I have the same experience. I want to ride it just one last time. 😭💔
@@ThemeParkGroupie Dude once I found out it closed down I was sooo sad. I swore if I ever won the lottery I would buy it and build it all back for the fans
Do it for all of us. Convince them to bring it back
I absolutely loved the ride. Best ever. (And T2-3D) buut, I didnt speak english at the time. So watching this again makes the memory of the ride so much better.
Oh wow! That’s an interesting memory. I miss them both. 😭
My OC, Martha went on this ride in 1994, and when the dinosaurs came up, she started singing The Flintstones theme and barking like Dino. Everyone laughed.
Haha! That’s a fun memory. 😁
What's an OC? 🤔
@@karicewillis Original Character! I like to make personas and roleplay.
Yes!! I miss this ride, thank you for posting! 👍🏼
I do too! 😭 Of course! Anytime. 😁
The last time I went to Universal was back in 2006 and this and the Terminator 2 rides were some of my favorites! I wish I could have gone again before they got rid of them, but at least I have RUclips to live vicariously through
For real. I miss it. 💔
I remember riding this ride during its last year if operation. Good times.
Man, that’s cool! I miss it.
This was such a fantastic ride! Imagine if it were remade with today's technology.
I know, right?? One could dream. 😭
Awwww man, was 5 when this was removed. B2TF2 is my favorite movie ever and I would loved to ride this :(
😭 I’d do anything to ride again.
This ride was much more fun than The Simpsons. The Simpsons ride wasn’t so bad but this one was more fun. It felt more real.
I totally agree!
I seriously miss it so much. 🥲
Grateful I got to experience this as a kid.
Same here! 💔
I went on this ride the year it opened. It was amazing. Still my peak theme park experience, easily.
I miss it so much!!
I'm counting this as canon
We really enjoyed the ride and returned with our children in 2007 to ride on it. They are big BTTF fans and were looking forward to it. The shock of discovering it had been closed in favour of the 'Simpsons experience' ruined our holiday. We were waiting in line for another ride and the park employee asked if we were enjoying the rides. I said that it was a mistake to have removed the BTTF ride and she asked if the other people there were looking forward to the SE. Not one person said they were and several others complained about the removal of the BTTF ride.
I miss it so much!
I wasn’t in Universal when the ride was still open, but it feels like a movie (or some short). It looked really when it was still up
Yeah, for real. I love to just watch it like it’s an episode or something. 🤷♂️
"He must have stowed away!" Good stuff. I loved this ride.
You and me both!
i miss this ride just like "Kongfrontation" even though i never rode them i wanted to go back in time and ride them
if time travel would be possible
You and me both! 😭 I just wish I could experience the 1995 Universal Studios just ONE more time!
Y'all this ride had such a unique nostalgic smell while waiting in the cue and after the ride i can't describe i can't be the only one that remembers😭
I do!! So did Kongfrontation. I miss 90s Universal so much. 😭😭
You speak TRUTH! 😭🙌
@@ThemeParkGroupie Yep. The people who ran Universal Studios during the late 2000s made a big mistake of having the Back to the Future ride replaced by the Simpson ride.
i will NEVER forgive them for taking this ride down. so thankful to my dad for always taking me to universal one billion too many times that i remember this ride very clearly❤ great memories 💞
I miss it so much. 😭
Biff couldn't have been class of 1955 if he was at the dance in November 1955. He would be class of 1956 at the earliest.
Yeah, true. 🤔🤔
He was SUPPOSED to be Class of 1955, but got held back a Year.... Doc got his Graduation Year wrong by a Year, which is understandable....:)
Huge back to the future fan loved this ride rode it at universal studios Florida when I was 9 In 1993 with my family 🙃
I miss it!! 😭
@@ThemeParkGroupie me too 😫
All generations deserve this ride
For real. 💔
The Simpsons ride is awful and I love the Simpson part of the park.
Best ride ever. Should never have gotten rid of it.
I know. 😭
It's a shame that I only ever rode this once when I was really young so I can't rememer what happened in it. Went on it in 2006, by the time I went to Universal Studios again in 2008, it had gone 😪
I miss it so much! 😭😭😭
Thanks for showing the footage of this ride that i havent ever experienced before
No problem! I miss it. 💔
This ride was timeless. Entertaining and very immersive.
It's incredibly unfortunate and a bit irritating it got shelfed for a Simpson's rollercoaster ride.
I know. Such a downgrade. 😖
Ah this and T2!! Childhood memories……
For real!! 😭
