- I'm lucky enough to go to Universal Orlando for my job every single week -- usually multiple times. Because of this, I have my all-time favorites -- and least favorites in the theme parks. And today I'm sharing them all with you!

Toon Lagoon should definitely be rethemed to Bikini Bottom, keeps with the cartoon theme and water. The fact that Spongebob only gets a tiny store in Studios is BS! Also, wouldn't it be great if the patio at Mythos was converted to a bar, there are rarely people eating out there and the views are stellar.
They could do so much with SpongeBob. Goo Lagoon, Krusty Krab, Jellyfish Fields, Chum Bucket, Mrs Puff's driving school...

My husband has only been to Disney since I found Molly and implemented her tips. He’s dying to go to Universal, but only with Molly recommendations. 😅😅 He’s been spoiled.
I had the great fortune of running into Molly during the filming of this video and even spotted my family momentarily in the footage. How cool! I haven't been there since 2001, before we got married & had kids, so I'm really not well versed in Universal as I am in Disney.

Definitely agreed. I've never been to Universal, but that's out plan for the future as the kids are getting older and my eldest has become *obsessed* with HP. A first-timer's guide would be great.
I agree! I'm over disney's nickle and diming customers while taking away all he stuff that made it great to go, now it's just a job. I wasn't a big fan of universal when I was there in '04 but it looks like they've added a LOT since then and Molly makes it sound so cool. Tell me ALLLLL the things on how to plan a trip Molly!

IOA is entirely based on BOOKS and not Movies so knowing that makes it ALL make sense, Molly. But You HAVE TO know that. Haha! That's why boats instead of jeeps for Jurassic Park and on and on... It balances the thorough movie theming at Universal Studios Florida across the way very VERY well. Thanks for all the awesome coverage!
Mythos is terrific. And Molly has good taste. So glad you review Universal.
Tip to offer: I was just there last week; I am usually very motion sick on Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey- not this time though. At least 30 minutes before I got on, I took the non-drowsey dramamine and had a fantastic day!
A great tip is you could get it for free at the first aid station within the parks. 😇
You should do a video on your favorite cocktails/beers/wines to get in each of the lands in each park! Love the content!!
How fun to go to Universal and everything is back to pre-covid! No reservations, no time schedule, no phone needed and so less expensive!

I would like to point out that “Molly’s coffee spots ™️” are great cool down spots for people with autism ADHD SPD etc which can become vital for any person or family on theme park days IYKYK
IOA's original idea was inspired by literature. From comics (Marvel and toon lagoon) and graphic novels and all tales. Jurassic Park River adventure was inspired by the raft ride in the book.
Mythos is a great restaurant. Just remember, the chairs are heavier than they look! 😄

These favorite things videos are fantastic. Picking one thing in each land really opens up the opportunity to share hidden gems about parks that you might not realize exist when thinking of a park as a whole. Can’t wait to see these videos for all other parks

My favorite underrated “hidden” spot in JP is the caves in the kid’s area!!! So pretty in there, usually empty, and a great place to cool off.

want to give a cute lil tip as someone who worked at the lemon cart in POE. the "coffee spot" she mentioned, is also the best place to watch the fireworks when the castle is doing them.
also, the eggs are green because of a blend of parsley basil and spinach thats then mixed into the eggs.

"You can get it in a layover in Milwaukee" 😩 nooo Molly come and stay in Milwaukee! You'd love it. We have a very strong coffee culture if you can believe it. And obviously lots of good beer and good food! Come to Summerfest this summer 💙💙

Poor Toon Lagoon! 😂 We always walk straight through. Hoping that after the Kid Zone remodel in Studios they will consider updating Toon Lagoon as well.
Finally getting to go to Universal later this year, and with how manypeople are raving about Haggrids, I'm trying to manage my expectations. I don't want to go in overhyped and be disappointed.

So many shared favs! I live about a thousand miles from Universal Orlando, but I'm lucky enough to visit every couple months, so I've developed pretty strong opinions on what I think the "best" things in each land might be. Although the more often I go, the more I grow to love the quiet little secluded spots where I can be alone, enjoy a beautiful view, and soak in the theming.
I will never relate to the toon lagoon hate lol. I LOVVVEEEE it so much, and water rides are just the best 🥹

Raptor encounter is so fun! I don’t typically do character meet and greets, but it is a must do. Especially if you love the Jurassic franchise or just dinosaurs in general.

I went to universal a few months ago and went to mythos. We got the spanakopita dip and can confirm, it was one of the best tasting dishes I have ever eaten. I still think about it and can’t wait for my next trip because I will for sure be getting it again!
This brings back such amazing memories as we were only there 2 months ago......good job we're going back next year!!!

That feeling when you walk into Islands of Adventure.... I miss it!
When I was deployed to the "Sandbox" and we were close enough to an assembly area we would get a hot breakfast delivered in a mermite container to keep the eggs warm, the mermites were lined with aluminum which would turn the eggs green by the time we got them, usually around noon! Didn't mind the color, the eggs were good, especially if you have been eating MRE's for a week!
Please do a video on Mardi Gras at Universal! I'm looking forward to the food and parade!

I went to both parks last weekend had a blast. It was brought up in conversation, over and over again, that the park could use an update it in a few areas. Toon lagoon and Marvel island being the main ones. They are building a third park, which I'm excited for but I feel they could focus more on what they have and give it some updates. I also wish that Diagon alley had a few more attractions. I want to spend more time in that world. I feel they could expand it into universal.

At 26 mins, talking about how wet you get riding the popeye raft ride, I'm dying! LMAO! I went on that with my family during spring break in high school, so it was that weird time of the year where it doesn't get super hot in florida, so I legit could. NOT. dry. After riding we went and had lunch and over an hour later my pants were still completely soaked, when we got around to jurassic park and found a gift shop with clothes, my mom bought me a new pair of bright pink shorts just so I could sit down not in a puddle. I still have them to this day. LOL!

Yes! Green eggs and ham tots are so good. I've been here quite a few times and never even knew this place existed. Had them for the first time on my birthday in February. Green eggs and ham for breakfast, then Who Hash for lunch. Delicious! (though the who hash isn't as good imo)

Some great choices! My wife & I love Mythos and we actually got the spanakopita when we went last year. You're 100% correct on how good it is. And they were great. I can't have corn so they sliced cucumber for us instead of the pita chips & it was fantastic. I know you hate getting wet on rides, but my wife & I LOVE Rip Saw Falls. That's the best part of Toon Lagoon imo. Though Wimpy's is awesome too. Toodles lol

I grew in Chester Illinois which is the town Popeye That Sailor Man was created so Bilge Rat Barges is a must ride for me.
My son, who doesn't usually like roller coasters, LOVED the Hulk...

Just found your videos and y’all are funny! Love it! Totally agree with the retheming of Toon Lagoon. Kathy’s spread Eagle is just weird! I was thinking a Shrek swamp tour ride for Popeyes and a Trolls ride to replace rip saw falls…also a weird one. Or just make it a dark boat ride through Far Far Away…staying with the Shrek theme.
