The Tygers were definitely on a high in the early eighties. John Sykes is in my top ten guitarists. He didn't seem to get the same accolades in the press that some guitarists received, but he is a fantastic guitar player, in my opinion.
Another shout out to the Handsome Beasts, can you slot them into a 4th consecutive vlog.! Would loved to have seen Pat Benatar back in the eighties but don't think I recall her venturing over to the UK very often. She had a rockin' catalogue of songs.
Baron Rojo did support Hawkwind, I saw them at the Playhouse round about my sixteenth birthday!
Pretty sure the did - maybe 82?
@DunsysGuitarWorld October 82
Another excellent travel back through time 🤘
I have all five of those albums listed on Vinyl and CDs 👍🍺
A connoisseur indeed! Nice one, Sir.

Absolutely. Sykes was a monster player - super fast and super articulate. Great feeling too.

Most publicity they've had in a wee while! Some great tunes. I only remember Pat playing here one time, maybe 81/82?
Avatar was the home of Dark Star, Chevvy and, I think, Limelight
Ah, that's right - nice info sir!
