Elite 1 sweater here. Im not a godly player but i can assure you one thing. Defending is just about reading the opponent. Most players do the same thing all over again. Once you noticed it, it becomes so easy to defend against this players. But this all means nothing if you can‘t do what you want to do or if you doing it badly. Fast Player Switching, Player Positioning, Cutting Passing Lines, Pressing, Tackling etc.... In the end, you can only improve by playing ALOT and recognize by yourself how to play better. Nobody can teach you. In the old FIFA Times there was no RUclips or something like that. How do you think all the good players learned the game?

They are not the same instruction. CAMs are instructed to COME BACK on defence, which means they will come back WHILE DEFENDING CDMs instruction is STAY BACK which means they will STAY BACK WHILE ATTACKING

I deleted the game after a struggle that i had, i got like 17 wins and again like always when i reached 17 wins i could not get any win after. Literally my players were like bronze ,btw i have really good team with Neymar,BenYeder,Essien,DavidLuiz etc. I never feel so bad about losing a game were the oppenent team was like God, and ik 100% that it was the worst scrip i ever faced in my life playing Ultimate team on Fut chempions, they were wining every tackle,passing, duel strength like even my Vidal 90 rating couldn't take the ball from Atal using strength,tactick defending to stop him, it was unstoppable, obviously players that pay for the game they have difficilty scrip help by Ea . The advantage on attack is immense. This is the most unbalanced fifa I can remember. 75/25 in favour of attack. Players just walk through my defence and I just walk through oppositions it's so easy. It's really shit football no build up play just ping pong.

I have sbc Ramos and I play him in right CB position bared with varane. Does it matter if he plays on left or right cb? Also I have Vidal and headliner sanson in cdm. How should I pair them up with the defence since sanson is a lot quicker than Vidal in game.
I never changed settings in all my fifa gaming. But man these new games is forcing me to be in the new. Every time I get the ball i get rushed by everyone, none of my players are open, the opponents defense all have 99999999 dribble, first touch is horrible someone is always there to either block a pass or somehow run 10x faster when I’m sprinting forward on an open field and two of the opponents team are AlWAYS In front of me hovering and get the ball with whatever move I do
If you can just help me with a way out in a situation I have been struggling with. I always find gaps between my CDMs and CBs when under attack! The CBs will be marking instead of the CDMs. That always puts me under pressure.
The problem with this game is it is one dimensional pass around the box till you find a gap or play overload ball side park the bus 🚌 then wait till your opponent attacks then aimlessly kick the ball out it magically goes to your striker who is marked by two defenders but he somehow wriggles his way through to a chance on goal. I wouldn’t mind as such if the dribbling was good but it is not I do some excellent dribbling and skip past opponents but the recovery is unrealistic by the defenders in these situations I would be away having to deal with another team member not the player who missed timed his tackle is lying on floor in no mans land I’m sprinting away towards goal and still manages to get up and catch is up and wins the ball back. Defending is too op attacking needs to be better with faster smother dribbling which would balance the game out better you need to be able to punish players for making mistakes.
This would be very helpful if the right stick switching worked properly
