Works like a charm for my opponents. Referees in this game is garbage. So many times the last man will tackle you and only get a yellow. Thats a straigth red in a real game

I definitely have risked it all a couple of times, knowing I'm getting a direct red card. It stopped the counter-attack and I ended up winning anyway.

This is great but It doesn’t explain what to do if your opponent sprints 310km per hour the entire game, runs you off every ball like Usain Bolt. Intercepts nearly every pass you make, gets behind your defenders so casually like he’s going down to the shops to buy milk and every shot he takes goes in ? 🤷♂️ I’m on level 8 and I experience this almost every game . There is really no point in me playing anymore . Any tips ??
Patience most kids psg with constant pressure so in the second half their players will be dead and you can dominate the game

Please I have a very huge problem, and I’ve hardly seen any videos about it. It’s About how handle one on one situations with the goalkeeper. Your opponent has passed all your defenders, so it’s left just the keeper and the striker, you see him coming, and how do you control the keeper manually in this situation from preventing the striker from scoring. Please I want to know how to contain the situation. Thanks
One on one situation can easily be handled by doing a ball roll. Use the right analog stick to do the ball roll. Also to defend one on one situation against opponent u can easily bring the goalkeeper out by pressing and holding the triangle on your controller. Thanks me later

Hold triangle or y to rush the keeper. To actually move him to cover an area use push right stick in and then start to move it around to direction you want keeper to move

Anyone know how to run from behind a player, push them off the ball, regain possession all by using a slower and weaker player? Cos that's all thats happening to me
playing against cpu? nothing you can do. they'll always be able to reach you due to the game's setting. While you with a slower defender will have a hard time chasing cpu players running in front.

You can’t. Just run back and take a better angle to meet the ball handler near the 6yd box.
Pressing the left trigger to shrug them off when you are dribbling and being close down by the opponents, it's on the video.

What am I doing wrong? I can not win a single battle. I'm constantly shoved around. Guy yesterday picked the ball up from kick off, Ran in a straight line and just bulldozed his way through me to score. I'm beyond frustrated.

Some teams I play win every 50/50. All running duels. Every tackle. How? Is there a button I'm missing or something?
Wait so in defense rarely do u need to press tackle? Its mainly either pressing l2 or spamming l2?
Yes. Only press tackle if you're 95% sure to win the ball. Otherwise your player will be in no mans land
Wait wait but when I hold l2 sometimes the player glides through or dragback and defense can't recover
@@solomonbennett6786 don't always hold down that button it slows the player down. sometimes it's better to just drag the analog stick it gives your player more pace.

Every time I attempt to fake charge a player my defender will get behind the attacker and it's over, I want to be able to do what you did with the defender here at 9:28 he covered the passing lane as well as ran before the attacker could collect the through ball!

Guys, please stop using control names in joystick, like L2, cos people like us play using keyboard. So,please use words like ,"stand tackle button, contain button" etc.. ie purpose of the button

Jockey needs to be manual dude. Manual makes it easier to track dragbacks etc in backs. Assisted slows you down

Bulidrians yes but are supposed to not hold sprint, just tap sprint to be around him with a little bit of distance and be patient. The attacker needs to come your way always keep that in mind. Let him expose himself before you strike. All pros use manual jockey
When to hold or tap LT?
if you hold it your player will be slow and will defend the ball more successful but it you spam it you will be faster but not as strong.
The secret is have player 90 pace and 90 strength, thats all folk

not a good tutorial. all your players are 90+. decent tactics but some of these would never work against better players.

The problem mate is, that the players, who normally plays in 1-3 divison let them drop to division 7-10 in rivals because they can get good players and other rewards. A thing that completely has destroyed UT tbh
I've never gotten higher than division 5, but I've found that slowing down your game really helps. Don't get the ball then sprint right away, take your time. Also learning the bounce pass is a must. When passing, tap the "A" or "Y" button (Xbox) to do the pass, it puts some air underneath the ball and makes it more difficult to intercept...

It’s such a joke how defenders, no matter what their pace stats are, catch up to the attackers, even if they have 99 pace.
Surely EA have to address this going forward. They want a realistic game but all players run at the same speed in game.
If R9 got on behind a defender irl there was no way he was getting caught. He would just burn past. Same with players like Mbappe now. Once there are gone, they are gone. No hope of catching them. But not in Fifa. Get a defender with 70 pace. It’s all you need. You’ll catch Mbappe, Mane, Eusebio. Anyone. No problem

check your settings... analog speed is most likely ON. Turn it off and watch your player go from 0 to 100.
