Dwight & Hanson going back & forth at each other with the legs/hands comments always cracked me up. Just straight ROASTIN each other the whole movie, lmao..
"Oh, my god, Brenda we're gonna die." "IT WOULD HAVE JUST BEEN YOU IF YOU HAD JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Fun Fact: The tongue used in the spoof of The Exorcist (1973) segment was the actual tongue used in The Exorcist (1973). What Script Fact: There are multiple instances of improving in the movie. One of the earliest examples, is James Woods improvised the line "Fu-ck this!" when Father McFeeley first sees the possessed girl. Layers And Layers Fact: Tori Spelling appeared in this movie and had a cameo in Scream 2 (1997), with Sidney (Neve Campbell) even joking in Scream (1996) that with her luck, Tori Spelling would be cast as a film version of herself. Scary Movie (2000) was a parody of the Scream film franchise, and Spelling's casting was yet another homage to said franchise. MPAA Hacks Fact: The scene of Tori Spelling and a ghost having intercourse and then smoking in bed afterwards, is a homage to a similar scene from the British movie Bloodbath At The House Of Death (1984) which also was about a group of scientists investigating a haunted manor. Originally rated NC-17 by the MPAA, that scene had to be cut to about a third of its original length for an R-rating. Director Keenen Ivory Wayans was very upset about this because there was really nothing in that scene that warranted anything more than an R. He also felt he was targeted by the MPAA for harsher scrutiny because they felt he got away with too much raunchy humor in the first one.
"He got 🦀?" 🤣🤣🤣 JL's face as he worked out "We'll shave off our pubic hair and wear the shampoo for 2 weeks!" was A+ but he might be the only reactor I've seen catch it.

definitely my favorite of the Scary Movies. this one probably has the greatest opening. shame if you haven’t seen the movies from my favorite jokes, “Hannibal”, “What Lies Beneath”, and “Hollow Man”, especially “Hollow Man”. it’s a cool movie starring Kevin Bacon and directed by Paul Verhoeven, the guy that made “Robocop” and “Starship Troopers”. it’s got some great set pieces and I wish more people saw/remembered it. can’t wait for the kitchen scene.
In my 34 years of life, my best financial purchase will always be the lever action claw ''Strong Hand'' reacher grabber I bought as a teenager for $19.99. We used it as a roach clip.
At one point earlier in the movie he or someone does refer to one of them as his "strong hand," and you assume it's the one that isn't disfigured. Then at the window he says the non-disfigured one is "not strong enough." Plus it was about 2 decades ago. I do not know why I went this in depth here, but oh well.
The vomiting back and forth was the funniest scene. I was howling at the theaters it was so good, this and Shorty getting rolled up like a joint lmfao.
Jay, at 21:30 that scene is also a spoof of a scene from What Lies Beneath, a movie with Michelle Pfeiffer and Harrison Ford. It's a well done movie. You definitely ought to watch it on your channel.

In my opinion this was the peak of Scary Movie. It captured the mix of gross-out humor and clever writing that sadly went downhill with Wayans movies after around 3 or 4.
I mean it was different people that made all the movies after number 2. It went pg-13 and turned into more 1980s “Airplane” or “Hot Shots” type of comedies. Can’t beat the first two but 3 and 4 had some classic moments
the Weinstein bros declined the wayans brothers contracts and fired them from scary movie 3. they were invited back for scary movie 5(wonder why) but they passed on the offer.
Scary movie 3 in my opinion is the best of the series, mostly because the writers of the 3rd scary movie was the same team that wrote "Airplane" and "The Naked Gun" series. In my opinion they are funnier than the Waynes brothers.
Jay, it was a whole entire rumor, when I was in high school (90s), that Marilyn Manson had a rib removed so he could perform that action on himself. And I won't say how I know (👀), but there are men who can and do love their self love. HAHAHA

CABIN BOY starring Chris Elliot ( chicken wing) is a surreal cult classic!! Also, the original Mr Show with David Cross and Bob Odenkirk is a great sketch comedy show that featured many comedians such as Sarah Silverman, Brian Posehn, Jack Black and others.
Scary Movie 2: Had 12 horror Movie Parodies in the film; Hollow Man, The Amityville Horror, The Legend of Hell House, The Exorcist, Bloodbath at the House of Death, Poltergeist, The Changeling, The Haunting, Stigmata, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, What Lies Beneath, House on Haunted Hill
