I spent many years involved in the new age and my intuition became very accurate. I realize now that it wasn't my intuition, I was being deceived. Now I feel as though I can't trust anything I experience because what if it's not of God. I had some very scary experiences and now I just want to do God's will. OK, So I can add something here. I received my calling, after nearly 40 years alive. Can you guess what changed? I actually prayed and asked the Lord, "What do you want me to do Lord?" He answered... and I listened. No side quests. No fasting. Prayer, but I was already learning to pray better. I just asked Him! So simple, but it took my whole life to figure it out.
I would suggest Michael Heisers teaching of Hebrews on The Naked Bible. Very clear and easy to understand and goes with what your show was about. Thank you for your work for the body of Christ and may you be blessed for your obedience.
Around 17:00 Saul murdered many Gibeonites, and the priests of Nob, and persecuted to death many of the followers of David. He also committed anathema by letting an Amalekite king live after God had decreed their utter destruction.
Thank you for this conversation. It really puts things in perspective. I would like to see some conversation on repentance. When a Christian has a strong hold of sin, part of repentance is turning away from that sin. So I'd really like to hear some thoughts on the difference between repentance and the whole idea of morale theoism? Sorry, I'm not getting the terminology right, but I'm sure you understand my question. Also, when Paul talks about working out your salvation, comes to mind as being one of those scriptures that are used but maybe not quite understood. God bless you both and love those wives of yours!

There was no die to yourself, abide in christ e.t.c. You guys gave me the name to the problem. I just listened to more of the video... there is a good thing though called obedience. Paul said that you'll want to obey more of the law after you trust Christ. Any thoughts on that? The documentary, American Gospel addresses some of this. If we are looking at the difference in sin between David and Saul, the biggest difference was the Saul turned to other gods - witchcraft. David never turned to another God.
