Camping in South Africa | December Holiday Part 2 | Drie Berge | Brits

December in South Africa is summer holiday time and we spent our summer holiday camping in two locations in South Africa...first at a camp site called Eden Park Limpopo (see my previous video), and the second at Drie Berge (Three Mountains) Caravan Park in Brits, in the North West province of South Africa.
This video is about the second part of our trip at Drie Berge (Three Mountains) Caravan Park. Drie Berge is located just over an hour north of Johannesburg in a little town called Brits, near the Hartebeespoort Dam.
We have camped at this camp site before and enjoyed it so much we decided to return again for part of our Christmas break. The camp site is nestled between three mountains, and set on the banks of the Crocodile River (and yes, there are real crocodiles in the river). It is an ideal spot for fishing, with plenty of other family activities on offer too - such as swimming (three swimming pools, included an indoor heated pool), tennis, biking and hiking trails, canoeing, 4x4ing and much more.

My 4x4 offramp camping trailer is a Metalian Bowhunter trailer with a Tentco Junior TTT. My vehicle is a Ford Ranger Wildtrak (Thunder Edition) 2.0l bi-turbo diesel, with a Front Runner Slimline II rack fitted over the load bed. My mountain bike is a Yeti ASR Enduro full carbon dual-suspension MTB.

We used to swim in the river until crocs were spotted, on my RUclips channel I had luck and filmed the croc swimming up stream
