Tell us your favorite family recipe!
Guacamole is my daughter’s fav and mine is our family stuffing which is a combination of both of my grandmothers’ stuffings 😊❤️
Fav family recipe is recipe and bistec or when they make yautia or malanga 🤤
Our favorite recipe is chilly beans with turkey meat, with all kinds of spices and cheeses. 👅 Yummy 😄
My favorite family recipe is my granny’s fried chicken she has a special way she frys it and it’s delicious !!!!
We are Puerto rican so we love Rice and Gandules and Roast Pork is my family's favorite recipe we make it on the holidays.
Dressing. I accidentally figured out my mom's secret ingredient 20 years after she passed away. I only learned it because I accidentally bought cream of celery and cream of mushroom instead of 2 cans of cream of mushroom. I nearly cried when that remembered flavor hit my mouth.
i know it was bomb! I added cream of celery and cream of chicken & mushroom soup to my dressing this past thanksgiving and when I say it was good it was GOOD. I know the feeling or recovering old recipes from our loved ones who has passed on. That's a beautiful memory for you to hold on to.
Yes, have been using cream of celery soup in my cornbread dressing for ever. Passed down through the generations.
Aweee! That is awesome! Praise God!💖
🥰
Awww beautiful! I'm happy for you 💖

I love all greens 🥬 ❤️. Collard, mustard, turnip.... I just love green vegetables period.
I've eaten rapes, rutabaga, poke dandelion, and assortment of greens that grew wild.
The matching towels over the shoulder is just too cute!!!
I already knew I would LOVE this video.... but the moment Aiden pauses to say he wants to get a kitchen towel.... and put it just like his dad my soul melted entirely lol
Keep making fun family memories for your children. 🙏🏽💞🥰

2007 Baby I’m not a huge social media person either, but honestly, since it’s free, it’s worth it to download it to watch the Instagram lives 😊 Plus Adam always saves his, so even if you miss it “live,” you can watch it at any time.
Thanks for information...I only knew about the Friday Live
🥬🥬🥬🥬🥬🥬 *Great positive quality cooking time. Only the Housleys can make a lil boy enjoying and loving cooking with his daddy. Also I said it before but I love how you don't insist on making every single thing from scratch. That's more realistic and reasonable*
Yes! 👏🏾 Smoked meat in collard greens 😁 so yummy 😋
The kids are so sweet and cute ☺️
These are the Greens Tam bragged about back on The Real! 🙏🏽🙏🏽
I know that you are a journalist but you are so comfortable in the kitchen it’s looks like you are also a real chef 👩🍳 I like watching you cook and your children are so cute. Beautiful Family
I'm from the south and that pot liquor that you keep pouring off has all kinds of nutrients and vitamins. Make some cornbread and dip it in the juice (aka) pot liquor. Delicious! Thanks for sharing, i am going to find that greens seasoning.
Great video! Dad and son. ❤❤
🙋 Hello, Housley Family. NEW SUBSCRIBER HERE. 😄 Adam and Tamera, you and your family are doing real family life living (various ways of fun and precious family fellowship with kids crying, learning, laughing, and nose picking...lol) and I am loving and enjoying it all. 💜❤💙💛👍😄
You don't hear people saying fat back these days, but that is what we called it coming up.
I love that this episode is a little more about Aden!
Good job tapping😂😂😂 Ayden was watching his mommy😍 cook with all that tapping✌
I use pickled jalapeños to add that vinegar flavor to make the greens pop more and add a a couple of teaspoons of white vinegar to tenderize the greens. It makes a big difference to the flavor and texture.
They'll tender up without vinegar, just keep them on the eye longer.
So cute if you guys did a weekly family cooking show 💕
They kinda do on adams instagram
😄 ADEN HAS A PASSION FOR COOKING!!!😍😍😍😍💜💕💜💕
Greens Seasoning is a must.
They look delicious!!🥰
Not going to lie, when I saw Callard Greens🥬 I was like whattt!? I am Southern, this is a huge stample in African-American and Southerners of White and all backgrounds comfort foods. Great job !
We may all cook greens differently but what matters is the end result. They looked yummy! I'll have some too.
How fun! What a great team!!
Green s well done, God bless you all
I remember Tam saying Adam made the best greens!!! Cant wait to watch😍😍
I've been waiting for this since Tam talked about it on The Real!!! THANKS ADAM! 🙌
Aden n Arian is so adorable and I luv me some collard greens my daughter loves them so much she told my granny all she wanted from her for Christmas was to make her her own pot of greens and my granny did lol😂😂
I need a plate of those greens please 😊
WOOOW where does time go!!!! Aden is so so cute!!!! Memories with dad. Love this so much
Wow! I am so proud of Adam right now. He did not shy away from that fatback. And since he said that they have Collard Greens around 5 or 6 times a year. That sounds like New Years, Easter,Thanksgiving,Christmas and just because.. Yes! I am loving this. My favorite family recipe is Corn Pudding. OK! I am cooking myself some greens tonight.
Adam can really cook & Tamera just like her twin sister, really nice video.🙂👍

Lmbo 😂 aiden reminds me of my son...adorable 💖
Portuguese kale soup my favorite.
I enjoy watching you guys. It's a family affair that feels like coming home.
The only thing different that I would have done was to cook the salt pork (fat back) and other seasonings in the broth until really tender, at least 1 hour ahead of time, then add the greens.
A

I love the Housley family. I could watch them every day if they came on. Adam can cook and throw down in the kitchen. You should check out his Mac and cheese video with the kids. Those greens look so flavorful and good. I am going to cook some. Great, Great, Great job!
Our family cook greens and cornbread at least once a week. Add a bay leaf. Gives it a nice flavor along with the garlic. The liquid that you can drink is called pot liquor. Luv u guys.
He's real clean too. I would take this recipe and fry the collard greens with bacon and that's it. Love your recipe. Thanks for sharing.
omg adam shakes the seasoning bottles like my mom as she explains what it is shes doing haahh love it!
Alright Housley!! You better cook some greens! 👏🏽👏🏽
Also y’all should do a history on greens and how it became a staple within black culture/soul food. It is really interesting!
It would be especially interesting since Tamera’s Black family isn’t African American.
I wonder who taught them, do they eat Greens in the Bahamas
@@charliehmmm9400 It was obvious they aren't African-American by this greens recipe lol

My older sisters Blueberry Cobbler. (Secret). Mouth Watering ☺️
Greens period, try mustard and turnips mix. Cooked the same way. One recommendation, let meat cook some before adding greens.
