My Christmas story is simple..a neighborhood woman who has the same address numbers as mine, who lives on the lane and I the court, delivers my mail and expensive collectors items when they are delivered to her. She brings me my packages and every Christmas, I give her an expensive gift card.😊 I remember purchasing a new Cadillac for cash, which came with a collector's book and she delivered that expensive book to me. I want her to never stop rerouting my packages to me. Happy Holidays to all and to all a blessed night!

OMG, I did not think that singing Happy Birthday to Jesus happened anywhere else. My daughter who is now 16, one year at a round 6 years old got this idea to sing Happy Birthday to Jesus on Christmas morning, and we did not know what to say. It was an unusual request but through the eyes of a child we understood her concept. So we let her sing it but just that one time. It did not become a tradition. THANK YOU FOR The MEMORY. Well hello, you two!!! I am a new subscriber but not new to both of you. I love you both, the chemistry you have is so so awesome! Tamera like you I love Christmas Time. When my children were younger I would start right after Thanksgiving putting up the tree and decorating the house. Now that they are older, and our family is so so small we hardly celebrate together, but I still put the tree up and decorate my home right after Thanksgiving. My Christmas when I was younger I love when family members come together, now coming to adulthood, just getting house hold things for Christmas gifts, just trying make it for another pay day. When we were coming home from my grandma's house we heard bells in the sky, so when we got though the front door, my brother n I run up the stairs to bed
I love Christmas too Tam! Decorating and christmas music are so fun! I really enjoyed Christmas growing up in Africa it was so awesome! I still love it living in America now, but it's different; in Africa it's a big celebration all about Jesus, family, friends, life & love . My husband and I can't wait for our baby to arrive so we can create more/new memories.
I am happy my parents weren’t the only ones denying their kids a dog... I got a stuffed dog, plastic dog, and even a robot dog. They made it clear that no dog was coming LOL. To be honest most of my brown and black friends, when I was young, did not have pets. When I got to high school I was shocked by the number of kids at school with pets! .... Oh and we sing Happy Birthday to Jesus and blow out candles on cupcakes!

When I was little my mom used to bring my sisters and my brothers to church on Christmas Eve. We gave all our thanks to Jesus and We sang some Christmas songs. Then we went home to have our Christmas dinner.

I thought about buying a tree one day but most of my family is deceased. So I never celebrated Christmas. My mom when alive told me about this day. @@tameramowrytwo my children, ok fully grown now, 41, 36 and 34. They are all living there lives now. I finally about 15 years ago read the letters in the stocking. Almost 20 years of letters and notes. All I can say is I cried. They always knew the true meaning of Christmas and they were always thankful. ❤🙏
One thing for me this year that will be somewhat hard for me during this Christmas, is I'll be working 10 days straight through Christmas. But I work at a rehab, and I learned during my time working this Thanksgiving dinner there's still something special about it. Even though I'm only their cook, I care for them and want to see them have a nice holiday because (like I in some ways) they might not of really had some good ones. Their gratitude on Thanksgiving makes me happy. I actually had a client tell me he could feel the love from me. That was the proudest moment of this job so far, minus the compliments on my food. So I guess that's what I'm looking forward to this year.

I have such guilt I missed my niece's first Christmas because I was on life support because of covid, I know she was a month old and now is almost 6 months old but when I see her beautiful face, this guilt tears at my heart

I thought about buying a tree one day but most of my family is deceased. So I never celebrated Christmas. My mom when alive told me about this day. Maybe one day I will even thought it’s not associated with Christ. One day I’ll get into the holiday spirit thanks for sharing. You two are beautiful! I’m so glad God brought you two together!!!! Such a good episode 😊, I like to give gifts too Tamara, especially to my kids, my daughter thinks it's odd that I give so many gifts out but I don't get many, I told her it's cause mummy doesn't give to receive and that also mummy can give herself many things during the year, I would rather see the gift of happiness and surprise and love on Christmas day and thats all I need

@@tameramowrytwo my children, ok fully grown now, 41, 36 and 34. They are all living there lives now. I finally about 15 years ago read the letters in the stocking. Almost 20 years of letters and notes. All I can say is I cried. They always knew the true meaning of Christmas and they were always thankful. ❤🙏

One thing for me this year that will be somewhat hard for me during this Christmas, is I'll be working 10 days straight through Christmas. But I work at a rehab, and I learned during my time working this Thanksgiving dinner there's still something special about it. Even though I'm only their cook, I care for them and want to see them have a nice holiday because (like I in some ways) they might not of really had some good ones. Their gratitude on Thanksgiving makes me happy. I actually had a client tell me he could feel the love from me. That was the proudest moment of this job so far, minus the compliments on my food. So I guess that's what I'm looking forward to this year.

I love when you were talking about holiday movies! but the kind I like, seem to be a forgotten tradition. The biblical movies, and the "Mary and Joseph cartoons! I miss those days! You knew what season it was, when you turned on the TV!
Christmas letters. I have never heard of that. This Christmas I am focusing on the Lord on Christmas day more than before. I would expand on this but then I would have written a paragraph to explain. Happy Christmas and a Blessed New Year to you and your family.
I have such guilt I missed my niece's first Christmas because I was on life support because of covid, I know she was a month old and now is almost 6 months old but when I see her beautiful face, this guilt tears at my heart
