The ability to know which grenade you're throwing, wether it will bounce or stick, instantly picking up the weapon you want out of a pile of like 10 weapons, reading the radar, putting yourself in great map position, having pinpoint accuracy and all of that in about 0.7 seconds. Truly astonishing
Lee Farris agreed I've had some sick ass matches in my day, but that was flawless, I always screw up a few times a match, whether I forget which grenade I had or how much ammo I had ect. But the grenade timing and attention to your inventory was masterful. Bravo

I remember when Halo 3 came out, my brothers and I played it RELIGIOUSLY. I’ve gotten every achievement (vidmasters still keep me up at night), recon, I remember the original grifball release. I was there for it all even up until I picked up the sticks agai for fun maybe 5 years ago (got a couple perfections too, still got it :D) and I have to say, from one obsessed fanboy to another, this game play did something to me. Just the way you’ve mastered every aspect of your game, from grenade control (if you don’t know, that’s probably you most important tool) to hill rotation knowledge, even down to which hill to defend and how. (Defending the elbow from @10:00 on is a death sentence if you’re in it, because you have to control the sniper tower as not to be blind sided as you take care of the funnel). Not to mention that insane defending of blue , and you had yellow on a leash as soon as they capped at 149. Smooth as silk. Even the sniper shots when you’re banking them off the the tunnel, you didn’t even get one, but the point was it’s routine, and you have to go for it. I guarantee you’ve hit it several times before. Everything about your play was basically perfect. This game is art and you sir are Picasso. And your art made me weep. It is a crime that you couldn’t perfectly win this game with a second left, as you were getting close all throughout the mid game. Sick fuckin vid

In fact, it’s the only thing that actually mattered in Halo 3’s day. Winning. Halo 3 was a brutal game in that if you didn’t win, it didn’t matter if you went 131-4. The game would still punish you for losing (if you were in the competitive playlists anyway). You went 31-8 in Pit CTF? Congratulations. Oh, your team lost the game? Too bad, you would lose a skill point in the TrueSkill system and possibly even be demoted a rank or two. Walshy, Snip3down, Pistola, Lunchbox and pretty much almost all of the Halo greats recognized that it wasn’t your KD that made you good, it was your W/L (win/loss). Anyone can pad K/D stats, but it’s a whole lot harder to pad w/l, especially in the competitive playlists. TL;DR The guy did good in the video but since he lost and this is Halo 3, it was all for nothing.

AYUCMax Halo 5 is a really good game. I like it to play. Warzone, Arena and Campaign (but too short) are awesome. With more maps, forge and gametypes is halo 5 one of the best halo´s (with halo 3). I like the way from 343 but i missed a few gametypes and the brutes.
+AYUCMax Nothing thats new can be considered a classic. It takes something new to make new memories, thats why people remember Halo 2 differently from Halo CE, they play differently. Its nice to see people actually praise Halo 5, and honestly it is a step in the right direction, i just wish there was more of it! But by december with the release of forge, there are bound to be most of the classic game types returning, ready to make some new great memories.

They're doing a staggered release starting with reach and then going in chronological order.

Dude I'm right there with you, I started playing Halo 1 & 2 on PC when their servers were up but I eventually went to Xbox 360 to finish playing the rest of the games and now the Xbox One to play MCC. I'm so happy to hear it's going back on PC. Honestly it's the best decision Microsoft has ever made and it's about God damn time. I'm super excited.

You have absolutely mastered this game. FPS games are nothing more or less than a complex set of choices which make or break your probability for succeeding and without any cheating you clearly understand this and all maps more thoroughly than I ever hope to know anything. Very fun watching you play. Every decision you make has millions of attempts behind it I can tell. Kind of how driving is unconcious after so many years, intuitively choosing the best choice of action without hesitation is what I see in this video. Impressive shit dude, very impressive 👍
Yeah this guy is definitely good, and he's an excellent sniper and can out-play really well. However, the kids he was playing against were absolute first-time noobs. I mean there were several times where they would walk by an not even acknowledge him at all, much less shoot at him. I actually began to think this was all staged with a bunch of friends or something. Needless to say, his aim and movement was still incredibly impressive. He's a practiced quick-scoper/lightning sniper as well which is always fun to watch (and do, lol).

5. Pick off kills as others are playing the objective

He was using map control and power weapons. He is clearly the better fragger so the objective was his friends job not his. That’s how Halo is played. Don’t like it? Play cod.

You have a point that his teammate was input at simply getting into the Hill and staying there but you forgot one important part about Halo 3. In fact, it’s the only thing that actually mattered in Halo 3’s day.

Halo 3 was a brutal game in that if you didn’t win, it didn’t matter if you went 131-4. The game would still punish you for losing (if you were in the competitive playlists anyway).
You went 31-8 in Pit CTF? Congratulations. Oh, your team lost the game? Too bad, you would lose a skill point in the TrueSkill system and possibly even be demoted a rank or two.
Walshy, Snip3down, Pistola, Lunchbox and pretty much almost all of the Halo greats recognized that it wasn’t your KD that made you good, it was your W/L (win/loss).
Anyone can pad K/D stats, but it’s a whole lot harder to pad w/l, especially in the competitive playlists.
TL;DR
The guy did good in the video but since he lost and this is Halo 3, it was all for nothing.

343 is slowly changing everything Bungie implemented. Whether you like it or not, Halo isn't the classic Halo anymore. Honestly, I'd rather play any other Halo than 5 excluding 4.
AYUCMax Halo 5 is a really good game. I like it to play. Warzone, Arena and Campaign (but too short) are awesome. With more maps, forge and gametypes is halo 5 one of the best halo´s (with halo 3).
I like the way from 343 but i missed a few gametypes and the brutes.
+AYUCMax Nothing thats new can be considered a classic. It takes something new to make new memories, thats why people remember Halo 2 differently from Halo CE, they play differently. Its nice to see people actually praise Halo 5, and honestly it is a step in the right direction, i just wish there was more of it! But by december with the release of forge, there are bound to be most of the classic game types returning, ready to make some new great memories.

@@irrelevant3464 yeah, the whole Master Chief collection including Halo reach and Halo ODST are coming by the end of the year, including campaign and multiplayer, with forge and fire fight coming later in the year. They're doing a staggered release starting with reach and then going in chronological order.

Logan Fairclough They are going to cut the servers eventually for the old one. MCC is still broken cause it doesn't use the proper port for the halo's. Yes they fixed the fact that you can now find games and what not, but the core game is still broken. Ie, Spawns on maps, hit reg, gametypes etc.

This is what happens when you play on host in halo 3 against really bad players. Halo 3 host was extremely overpowered.
That probably explains why I won a Lone Wolves Swords game with 25 kills and the runner up had 8. I finally got my killing Frenzy achievement though and topped it off with a running riot.

Dude I'm right there with you, I started playing Halo 1 & 2 on PC when their servers were up but I eventually went to Xbox 360 to finish playing the rest of the games and now the Xbox One to play MCC. I'm so happy to hear it's going back on PC. Honestly it's the best decision Microsoft has ever made and it's about God damn time.

The retreat down and back up at 11:33 was smooth the jump toward the enemy to evade forward view was lovely at 11:40. Grenade work out of my playbook. FPS games are nothing more or less than a complex set of choices which make or break your probability for succeeding and without any cheating you clearly understand this and all maps more thoroughly than I ever hope to know anything. Very fun watching you play. Every decision you make has millions of attempts behind it I can tell. Kind of how driving is unconcious after so many years, intuitively choosing the best choice of action without hesitation is what I see in this video. Impressive shit dude, very impressive 👍

Yeah this guy is definitely good, and he's an excellent sniper and can out-play really well. However, the kids he was playing against were absolute first-time noobs. I mean there were several times where they would walk by an not even acknowledge him at all, much less shoot at him. I actually began to think this was all staged with a bunch of friends or something. Needless to say, his aim and movement was still incredibly impressive. He's a practiced quick-scoper/lightning sniper as well which is always fun to watch (and do, lol).
