Some people don’t realize how hard it is to snipe in Halo 3 like FatRat. This is incredible talent.
I can't do it to save my life. The way he remains so calm and focused on the reticle and so smooth when not scoped in is impressive
I can do some of what he can do if I can stand still, but tracking somebody else while I’m also moving is something I struggle with. As for some of his wild snapshots? Forget about it, I couldn’t do that if my life depended on it.
I played for years and years and never could get it down like he can do it. I had a fifty in team doubles and lone wolves.
I think it’s incredibly easy sniping on halo especially against bad players like in half the clips here

not just that but if you go frame by frame you can see him snapping on his head in one frame. same with the sniper kill before and the BR kill. he's got aimbot that's for sure
Lmao he's just a good player he's been on h3 for years, the aiming looks exactly like halo aiming to me so not sure what you're talking about. Also h3 can be a bit wonky when it comes to hit detection, there's plenty of times I've got headshots when I wasn't supposed to or through walls even.

@@Daylen151 I'll look at it later when I'm on my pc, but in halo 3 no scopes are king so eventually you get to a level where when you see a player you instinctively snap on their head area as quick as possible, it's just a tiny adjustment of the stick.

I think the first video clip in the sequence needs to be pretty good to capture interest and foster retention, but then after that it can crescendo to the best of the best clips.

I haven’t played halo since about 2014. These clips are far beyond what any gamer could achieve in the previous gaming generation. I’m aware however he’s playing on a modern PC with all the specs. Imma go have a look and see what he was like 10 years ago.

Halo 3 didn’t have skill based matchmaking from what I recall, so unless they added it with the master chief collection, it wouldn’t do a thing to make new accounts.
There are plenty of old pros that used to make montages and get clips like these, naded has a ton of good clips across all the older halos to name one. Although by nowadays clip standards most of the older h3 stuff pales in comparison.
You are right about overkills on other pros hitting different, but it's all preference that's why montages used to be separated by "social" or "MLG" most of the time. This was a debate even on the some of the oldest social montages. Kamp used to have a h3 montage where he went into ranked mlg for as soon as it came out and almost every clip was against well known pros at the time, still my favorite h3 montages to this day but I doubt you'd ever be able to find it nowadays.

I'm going to be that one critic for a moment. There are many clips in this where I had the response of, "damn that was nice." The issue I have is all of these clips, if basic slayer, are AR/Pistol start. I'm sorry, but so much of this would be 10x more difficult if these were BR start scenarios. On top of that, and I laughed hard at the guy in this particular situation, you weren't playing against the cream of the crop either. I watched this guy miss 3 or 4 shots on you with his BR, after you were almost one shot. That would've ended that clip for sure lol. Nevertheless, not taking too much away from you and I hope you can respect that because you do got skills man. As I said in the beginning, there are clips in this that were intense. Keep up the hard work and thank you for keeping the best shooter saga alive!
