Nice work mate. Great review. Exactly the setup i was lookin for. Ive got a similar awning and rooftop tent and ill be doin the same setup. Here is Australia the bug in summer are pretty rough but with these orange lights, all the bugs will fly off to my other camp mates lights hahaha
Yup, they are awesome! I put a bunch under the awning of the Conqueror as well.
I love those lightings. Great quality and super bright. Although I'm wanting a more permanent power system that I can hardwire those lightings into my truck bed. Keep up the great content and reviews!

So I bought the hardcore yellow/white led stick on lights. I am wondering if you have issues closing it. The housing for the led strip lights is really thick for water proofness

@@IndependenceOverland ok great. I was going to put them on the back plate of the awning but I am afraid it won’t close properly
If you go that route, I’d say go as low down as possible. I did mine under each arm and it doesn’t have issues. On that backing plate, I think if you mount it low then you won’t have any issues.
great video and awesome channel, got 2 2M lights but just wondering how you wire them in sequence? Do you got the extension cable kit/splitter cables from Hard Korr. Can not get them in US.
Yes thats how I did it, back when you could order them. I just recently ordered a new one from Australia. Shipping was 35 bucks! They are supposed to relaunch in the US soon but I cant find out when.
Quick question. How hard was it to solder the wires together? I can’t find the three-way connectors, and was told that the wires are to small to solder back together.
I didn't do any soldering, the 3 way connectors are in fact a product. Are you in the US? They are currently changing US distribution so some parts are hard to get, but should be easily found soon. I actually need a replacement 3 cable connector, so let me email them right now.
@@IndependenceOverland I am in the US, and, I know about the 3 way connectors, just can’t get them. I was referring to where you said you soldered them into the anderson connector. I am looking for the 3 Strip Tri-Colour LED Awning Light Kit, but can’t find it in stock. I found the singles strips in stock at a good price and was going to buy three of those but can’t find the 3-way, and was told that the wires were so small that I could not get them back together if I cut them. If you find out anything let me know.
