    I bought this two bar kit recently and will never go back to rechargable lamps. Great quality.

      I tend to flick between the two light sources if I need more light, Rasul. I find the orange is good for getting around camp, but the white lights are better to work under.
      All personal preference though.

    Can i hard wire these into a controll box and turn them on and off via a rocker switch or will i need to still use the inline onoff button once powered from the rocker switch ?

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  Год назад +1

      You can definitely hardwire Hard Korr's lights, but they have to be done on the black connector side, eg before the dimmer or switch.
      You can definitely have a rocker switch for on & off, you'd just leave the dimmer switch 'on' and control brightness, etc from there.

    How come they list that dimmer switch for white leds only now?

      Hard Korr make dimmer switches to suit all versions of there lights in both the old dial version and the tri colour button version. ~ Ben

    Can you control each light separately on the two bar ? ie can I turn one off and leave the other one on ?

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  2 года назад

      Only if you put a switch between the two, Chris. ~ Ben

    Weird question, but can you mix them to create a “warm” light for in the tent?

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  Год назад +2

      Not a weird question. This video is abit old now, the current sets come with an upgraded dimmer switch that allows you to have three colours - white, warm white, and orange.

      @@SnowysOutdoors We settled on two Zempire Megadome lights for inside our tent, which are amazing. Surprisingly bright too, so I probably could have got away with only one (even for our Fortress V2 which is quite a large tent), but I'm certainly not complaining. They look great and they diffuse the light really nicely. Still on the lookout for the ideal orange light for under our awning though. I'm thinking the Hard Korr 4 pack so I can mount one up in each corner as I just received the notification email that they're back in stock. And with 4 individual lights it would give us some flexibility as well as more even light distribution in that space.
      My wife and I must have delicious blood because the mosquitoes love us. Any recommendations on repellants or bug zappers?

      @@michaeldomotor1755 I too love the Zempire Hangdomes/Megadomes, and use the Hard Korr orange lights for under an awning.
      As for repellants, a combination of things tends to work best for me. I use a Thermacell (yilam.com.au/) and some mosquito coils held up by this handy little device - www.snowys.com.au/mosquito-coil-holder.
