Star Wars Galaxy's Edge, the new 14 acre Star Wars Land opens at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World on August 29th and this is your guide to everything Star Wars at Hollywood Studios. Star Wars Galaxys Edge opened at Disneyland in May of 2019 and although people have said Galaxy's Edge is failure, that really isn't the case and its quite the success. I had an amazing moment while at the WDI preview of Galaxy's Edge at Hollywood Studios We were talking to a couple of Batuu civilians outside the cantina, having an in-character discussion about Black Spire Outpost and the First Order's influence on it. I wandered off a few yards to the left, and I saw a couple of Stormtroopers walking toward us. I ran back to the civilians Mom and Dad were talking to and warned them of "bucketheads" incoming. They hid behind us, and we shielded them while we sweet-talked the troopers and assured them that everything was alright.
It was pure Star Wars, and I'll never forget it.

I like the colour of Disneyland so much more. It feels more authentic, and that it's been there for centuries. Much more worn and weathered look. WDW just looks too bright, and I get why they did that, because of Florida's harsh weather.
I think in a year Florida’s GE paint job will look a lot more like Disneyland. Toy Story Land next door is already showing some fading and that’s only been around for a year!!
Don't fret though fam, it will wither and decay, just like my soul.

Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland was amazing!
I got to attend the Cast Member previews for Galaxy's Edge in Orlando. I've been in the land probably give or six times, and have done every position in the Falcon. Even after following all the news about the land prior to opening, and the Disneyland opening, I was completely blown away. Videos don't do the land justice, guys. You really have to experience it firsthand. Once the lands are fully open with Rise of the Resistance, and all of the interactive elements are fully implemented (like the Bounty Hunters and the Play Disney Parks profiles), this land will really blow everyone away.

We went on opening day but I think it might have been a mistake. Instead of characters and storm troopers there were reporters and photographers. It looks like a more immersive experience with less crowds.

There are MANY secrets and references throughout the land, inside the spaceport where that hunk of junk Falcon ship sits, and certain tie ins that many people may or may not find (including these things called Hidden Mickeys)
I personally hope all of you enjoy the land as much as I have so far myself and I cannot wait to see how your own journeys will unfold!

All reservations and bookings for a spot for the droid depo and Savi's workshop can only be done 14 days before you attend not months in advance as per the Disney website.
Excuse me, but if you're talking about GE at Hollywood Studios, that's incorrect. We have reservations for Oga's Cantina and Droid Depot on December 5, 2019. Don't know the arrangement at Disneyland.

Visited there at Hollywood Studios yesterday and it was great. At 6 AM we marched with stormtroopers down into Galaxy's Edge. The Smuggler's Run ride was a blast, but if you get right-hand pilot like I did, you should know that up means down and down means up (but for the left-hand pilot, right means right and left means left.) We also made a droid and tried both blue and green milk. My daughter and I liked both but I prefer blue (tastes like pina colada), she prefers green (peach-mango), and our friend didn't like either one.
Can’t wait until I go!! I’m so excited!!

I think I like the faded Disney land colors because it makes the world look older. I’m going in September to Hollywood studios. Very hard to get reservations for all the things in there. I barely got oga cantina. Very lucky. All I can say is check back often through the day. We got one reservation when we checked at 7am and another at 8pm. One was for a Sunday at 8:20 and the other was Monday at 8:40 for 2 people. We took the Monday one bc it would’ve interfered with universal Halloween horror night reservations on Sunday
Disneyland now does reservation for Savi and the cantina.

When I went to Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland California for the first time last month, I remembered there were differences because of this video, but couldn’t remember what they were. I’m already planning a Disney World trip for November, so when I go to Galaxy’s Edge there, I’ll remember these details

I've heard people say LA streets and locations are tough if you're not a local, Apparently they have a problem with Tajunga, Los Feliz, La Cieniga, and La Cienaga amongst others...
But I can't imagine how Figueroa comes out any other way but "Fig-ER-Oh-Ah"... it honestly boggles my mind.

This is false trust me the Batuuans will not give you any cards

Although it doesn't feel like star wars, Star Wars has much more faded colors, in my opinion Disney Lands is better, feels more like the Star Wars i know.

@6:57. There is a box in front of the Jedi statue in FL. It is blocking the view of his Light Saber. In CA. there is nothing blocking the light sabre. Like they are hiding it.

I visited Galaxy's Edge at Hollywood Studios during the passholder event. It was really cool and the ride on the Falcon was nice as well. I'm looking forward to their opening the second attraction because that one looks awesome. I'm going back in a couple of months and will be there as well once the Resistance ride opens. :)
