It's crazy, their range is unparalleled. I couldn't stand most of Draw Down the Moon the first few times I listened to it, then I found the songs getting stuck in my head, so eventually warmed up to it. This new direction, though, is fucking perfect for how life feels these days. I love this band so much.
Goddamn, after Greyhound this was the last thing I expected this to sound like. Not that I'm complaining, this goes so fucking hard. Truly have no idea what to expect from the rest of this album now but I'm so excited

Their rapid progression and maturity whilst fully avoiding butt rock is something I've yet to see to this extent. The haters can't get with it cause it doesn't sound like the medic. They've come so far. Their art and merch is dope too.

They're typically a lot more mellow. Not screaming. Slower build and delivery. Check out the album nearer my god. I dig all their stuff but 'Grand paradise' was the song that made me an avid listener.
definitely check out their album the albatross!! it took me awhile to get into them but once you do you won’t look back, for sure my favorite band of all time
