the bass-forward hook that drives this song and the twinkly synths give this one a Tame Impala vibe. I like it a lot, and it still sounds distinctly like Foxing's style at the same time. It's nice to have a groovy banger to break up the album too, cuz this one gets pretty raw.

I hope y'all know how much your music means. I've loved Foxing since seeing y'all for the first time in 2016 during the US / Iceland tour. I've seen y'all five times since. I'll never forget how sweet Connor and Eric were to me when I came up to them at Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco as a star struck 16 year old. I'm 25 now, and gave up on the rockstar dreams, but I never gave up on myself. I came close. Seen a lot of death, a lot cruelty. Seen a lot of beauty and resilience too. Every major part of my formative years seems to be marked by Foxing release. Albatross and Dealer helped me find the basics of my identity, my range of emotion. Nearer My God saw me through my first jobs and discovery of the real world. Draw Down the Moon came out at one of the worst times in my life, after my mom passed away from brain cancer. "Foxing" has come out in one of the most resplendent periods of my life. I've experienced so many "emotionally restorative moments" and I can't help but to feel like this album is also a culmination of a lot of pain and growth and hopefully healing. I did a lot of work to be who I am now, felt a lot of pain, and grew more than I ever knew I could. In my ears, through it all, was Foxing. My story is one of many, and y'all's stories are spread in these sounds. I just want you all to know that what you do matters. I'm alive because of it. I'm sure many others could say something similar. I'm going to be a dad soon. I'll foster a beautiful home for that baby. I never would have been capable without art like this, enriching my life, supporting me through the turmoil. Showing me the beauty in strife. Thank you. Keep going.
