That almost White-Side feels like it could be Linebred and turned into an actual morph for Hognoses. She looks absolutely gorgeous and I love the patterns on the back and that lovely clean patternless side. Mitosis had some beautiful babies.
I wonder if they will repeat the pairing and see if they get more of them or if it was just an individual pattern variation.

It's so interesting that Mitosis's babies have abberant patterns. The "ink fade" conda, the notch-pattern conda, and the "white sided" conda look like they have pale stripes / interruptions higher up on the sides, just like momma!
Yeah I hope they have at least one male holdback from her - she appears to have really interesting genetics, and it would be neat to see if they can get something going.
It'll be interesting to see what other kids she has in the future. Mitosis is one of the prettiest snakes.

I’d suggest putting the number of eggs laid on the box top - that would help with keeping track of how many should be in the box/how many went bad during incubation, etc.

hi Emily and Ed! i just got my deviated septum corrected via surgery(though it wasn’t nearly as bad as Emily’s, it was still quite crooked lol) and rewatching your rhinoplasty video is really helping me feel better knowing i’m not alone :D if Emily can do it TWICE, i can definitely do it once! also, thanks for showing us these cute lil hoggies, that also helped me feel better ❤️

I never get tired of seeing babies hatching. ❤
I will say, nothing has me more relaxed heading into winter than hearing that dad has not eaten since March and has not lost weight. Both of my hogs are very on again off again, with eating. I always blame myself when they strike, but I feel very encouraged to hear Emily and Ed tell Mirage to eat again. It reminds me that hognoses are just hognoses. ❤❤❤

I could've sworn Mitosis was bred to Drop Kick Murphy, which would explain the conda you plan on keeping's pattern, as its very similar to DKM's conda pattern

I absolutely LOVE the conda with the faded pattern that starts dark and fades as it goes along the body. It looks like it ran out of ink as it was printed, hahaha
I have three year old girl twins who love watching the “snake videos” and always shout out “EMILY!!” whenever Emily appears on the screen. Today they told me “that’s your friend, mummy!” And I have to explain how I don’t know all the people I watch on the internet 😂

It always makes me so happy to see when all the eggs hatch by themselves, I know it's technically not needed for captive bred snakes, but it makes me feel like thse are healthy snakes :3

Ok, I saw this SUPER cool thing a snake breeder did for a clutch of eggs (6) and I'm not sure if this is even feasible for your set up but it was so cool! So what this other breeder did was put in a small camera (GoPro?) in the clutch and we could see the snakes pip and come out of the egg. It was such a neat concept.
Glad Bruh (or was it Jester?) asked for a paternity test 😂😂😂
Edit: my male lavender has never bred but he's been off food searching for the ladies (like intensely searching) this past month. He was eating good before that.
WOW, I cant believe I was questioning that when you were putting them in their new baby homes. Emily, thats a testimony to your great teachings skills. To avoid confusion, I recommend using a Mr. Clean magic eraser on the old sharpie!
Out of clutch hatches that I've watched, you produce some of the most beautiful snake babies I've ever seen.
The babies inside the eggs when they stick their heads out is so dang adorable! Showed my mom one of your vids on the hognoses, she is not a fan of snakes and she said they were absolutely adorable. Lol. I am slowly trying to turn her to the dark side 😆It is working though, she wants me to get a rhino iguana and a tortoise so she can hang out with them and feed them, maybe someday.
I’m so excited I found my lil baby’s hatching video! I got the conda with the funky notch marking. I named her Princess Vanellope von Schnoodle. She’s so chill and curious and she’s eating like a champ! I’m completely smitten! 🥰🥰🥰

Not that you guys aren't doing an amazing job, it's just that the exitement and the fasts hand gesture did stressed the babies in almost every vidéo and i really hoped for a change. I've got what i expected 😊
A lot of these babies' patterns remind me of Mitosis with that peanut / bowtie shape rather than just larger spots. I wonder if it is a minor line bred trait. Also, with that funky little girl your keeping, I really hope she has the het lavender and you guys can prove it with her once she's old enough to breed.

Hey! Just letting you know! I was rewatching the 2023 pairing video and i got to the part with Mitosis. I know she was accidentally paired with Jester. But the actual male she was paired with was DropKick Murphy, not Mirage. Mirage was paired with, I believe, Lily, the lavender one.
