One thing I've realized watching trials, whether you're working for the state or the defendant, if you're not likeable to the jury or it looks as tho you're bullying witnesses, victims, or defendants, it doesn't go well.

The prosecutor got rather silly at times and I was glad when Judge Simpson told her to move on. The wife was a cheater and wanted her boyfriend to work in their business alongside her husband? What kind of thing is that to do? I believe the wife was the primary aggressor here. As soon as I heard the judge ask him how far it was he went to get away from her, that this was going to be not guilty. I think he said something about his beliefs and divorce and he at least, has grounds for divorce based on that. The defense attorney did a great job on this case.

This is a case where the Prosecutor couldn't see the forest because of the tree's. The Prosecutor seemed to feel like she had to maintain the narrative of the Defendant being a abuser through any way she could except through the evidence she had to work with. Her " oh really " cross examination of the Defendant was ludicrous.

  • @oqlus

This prosecutor quite thoroughly embarrassed herself with her entire line of questioning related to the “scholar” quip. She seemed to have been doing everything in her power to antagonize the defendant, in order to get a rise out of him, but only managed to annoy Judge Simpson and probably also the jury.

It was interesting to see these attorneys in a trial situation, after seeing them so often in simpler hearings. Prosecutor was strangely pushy and dramatic, maybe trying to get Del to react angrily. I was surprised that Ms. Pereny didn't start objecting. Judge Simpson had to jump in. Really glad this case worked out the way it did. Thanks for the video!

Is there anyone in America that has not been divorced with at least one ex? Why are the failure rates so high? Is it just too easy to get married there? Or are people generally of low character and morals.

    • @OrphanAnnie681
      @OrphanAnnie681 Месяц назад

@@otadashi1570 its probably more to do with a false sense of entitlement instilled in them from early childhood. I think most people marry to get what they think their spouse can give them and with as little effort as possible on their part to give back to the marriage. In other words, they want what they want, when they want it, and how they want it - with little consideration for what the spouse may want or need.
It's a selfishness that comes from being told *they* are special, above accountability and entitled to be a brat their whole lives.
I believe it stems from younger Americans being given too much of everything and never having to earn any of it or struggle for anything.
That's the downside to being the wealthiest nation on earth. We've bred some of the most ungrateful, unappreciative people on the planet.
I've noticed even saying "thank you" either never comes to their mind or they simply can't say it. They often replace "thank you" with "way to go". SMH.
Who would want to stay married to such a person? Especially if they're both like that? 😂😂😂

No documentation of injuries, no video, no witness, and the complainant wasn't even the one to call the police. She changed her story twice to the authorities, plus she has an underlying agenda for having her husband charged and found guilty. Judge Simpson said a “goodbye” to Lyndsey on RUclips at ref end of the docket when she left for a promotion. Jessica Blanch seems to be in more high profile cases now. She I was currently in the Fareed Hajjar, 57 case who was charged with mutilation and disinterment of a dead body and concealing the death of an individual in connection with the death of 42-year-old Suzan Christian Barbosa Ferreira. The multiple bail hearings have been interesting and blanch has been a rockstar.

Ok, if she would have head butt him she'd have been in the hospital. Also, I'm sure SHE didn't call the police cause she was scared. Once she was home with her loving boyfriend and felt safe and told him what happened he made the call cause she was likely still shaken up. If she didn't want it turned in, she wouldn't be there testifying. Her boyfriend isn't there testifying cause he wasn't there at the time of the assault. His testimony would be hearsay and not allowed. Also, if the boyfriend "called police" cause he just didn't like them being around each other then why did it just happen to fall on the same day of a physical altercation. She was divorced and with him now. Nice try defense not plausible.
I respect defense attorneys, would have liked to have been one but I just couldn't defend ppl accused of domestic violence against their partner or children or defend ppl accused of s*xual assault. I just couldn't do it.

So a cheating woman wants to bring her new boyfriend into the business and she gets upset at a dog being referred to as "it"!
    What an utterly pathetic snowflake!
I definitely believe that the "not guilty" verdict was correct!

I didn't see where she accused him of cheating, or where he said he was, but she admitted she was cheating.

Not one ethnic woman in the courtroom. I'm no longer support Simpson and or affiliate channels. I'm a lawyer btw. Geez.

Usually there are many ethnic women in his courtroom. So many awesome female (and male) defense attorneys of color. Apparently this was just a situation where his public defenders were caucasian.

I didn't know the judge was the one that fills the courtroom. How is that? Isn't the defendant given a court appointed attorney or hires one. And the judge doesn't have anything to do with the prosecutor selection. I'm asking since you say you're a lawyer. 🤔
