Wow I’m so impressed by this prosecutor 😮 What an intriguing closing, I have to say that I wasn’t 💯 percent of her guilt on the conspiracy to commit murder but wow he put everything together concise, clear and backed up everything with facts, receipts and statements of her own words! Again WOW! I say GUILTY on ALL CHARGES!!!
Have served on three juries , watched many televised trials, and I have to say Mr. McGinnis ( State prosecutor) has by far, given one of the best closing arguments I've ever heard. Even if I hadn't watched this trial daily, his summary, concise & factual, commentary backed up with evidence, clearly illustrates the many inconsistencies in Michelle Troconis's story regarding this crime. Beyond astounded that I see posts where people actually think Michelle Troconis is not guilty. And I agree with Mr. McGinnis. What are the chances that one person could have that many "coincidences" in such a short span of time? Not likely. I think the better thing to do here is imagine yourself as Michelle. If you were truly innocent, had no prior knowledge a crime was going to be committed, was not brought in to help destroy evidence, would you lie to the police? OR would you tell them every little thing you know, provide an alibi that can actually be substantiated? None of the information she gave police matched the video evidence. Number of trips to 80 Mountain Spring Rd, the time she went there, the time she left. The fires burning at her home that she was supposedly enjoying, while simultaneously her car is seen leaving the driveway and headed back to 80 Mountain Spring. I saw the interview videos, and how she tried to dispute the claims of the police. But people, video doesn't lie. She never mentioned the 2 fires mid-afternoon, only the one at 5:30 pm. Up until the video evidence was played for 5/24 , I thought there was a chance the jury might have reasonable doubt. But after the state played those video surveillances from neighboring properties, my mind was made up. Someone with no prior knowledge of a crime, would not automatically volunteer to help destroy what is clearly evidence of murder. And even if we say, she only helped after the fact, WHY? Why, in God's name would you ever rationalize that it's ok to not only take a human life, but to insure that person's family lives the rest of theirs not knowing where the remains are. These little deeds by Michelle are a window into her lack of character. Was she really that desperate for a man that she would help him murder his wife? And I don't feel sorry for her parents either, because somewhere along the way they played a part as to the person she is today.
Yes, well said! And WHY drive 12-14 miles each way to a bad neighborhood to dump (illegally) however many trash bags, contents including her bloody shirt & bra?! Especially since there is at least 3 CLOSER Starbucks?! I live in this neighborhood. The pond was right across the street from my home of 15 years, in Avon, at the time. I've followed this from DAY 1. Because in CT, more specifically Farmington Valley this was major news with news coverage ALL THE TIME. I watched nearby, on TV, and first responders desperately trying to revive Fotis. He didn't have a pulse, I believe declared dead, then they were able to get a faint pulse. Helicoptered him to Bronx, NY. Anyhow, I digress. I believe 💯% she helped I met her very briefly, she was RUDE. I work for a couple who's daughter, a local Attorney, went to Brown University with Jennifer, & they were friends. She & her children did horse riding, where they would see Fotis & Michelle, her kids were friendly with Nicole. She, of course, says they definitely murdered Jennifer.
The problem with a jury and with the public, is they seem to forget it’s always about 1 thing. That 1 thing is never a contest. The 1 thing is the truth. So fact is no one knows the truth and it’s pure guess work. Yep the defence was ordinary though the state was arrogant at times and I don’t like arrogant people in any field. Though as I said, it isn’t a contest. This is why the more I look at the system the more I see faults. I know it will never happen but I would much prefer 3 judges on every case. The jury just cannot be trusted. Nothing against you personally or anyone in particular but we know that many jury’s take too much into which lawyer they like the most plus evidence. The fact that the first thing you mentioned there was the state and they way they put it already makes me think, you either are banking on them or were swayed by them. Either way it’s not good. Jury’s cannot be trusted and that doesn’t mean judges can be. I just think they would be more professional without bias. That’s my take.
She didn't help him murder anyone, her whereabouts are nowhere near the crime at the time it happens. I do agree with you about her character though because there's too many odd things that she was in Tangled in that she had to have known what was going on after the fact.
@@astrialindah2773 She had to have known is your hunch and educated guess. There’s no real proof of that but yes agree she will get done for what you mentioned. After the fact. The first charge of conspiracy to commit murder is to hopefully nail her on the 2nd charge. The first charge shouldn’t have been allowed. In fact this case shouldn’t be allowed. It should have been halted as there’s no where near enough to send a person to trial. That’s my take. The jury will want someone to pay for something because the real killer isn’t hear to answer fir anything. He left a complete mass of destruction behind him. His ex wife the children his girlfriend his family his friends are all paying and will forever. His lawyer mate ? I have no idea. The fact he has been charged and there’s nothing to tie him and Michelle together just raises more doubt than there already is. She is the scapegoat.
The state did a phenomenal job pulling all the facts together and clearly proving beyond a reasonable doubt that MT was involved, start to finish. Rot in jail.

Wow, the prosecution did an amazing job on their closing. To me, the defense sounded overly emotional in a “it’s not fair “ tone ( as usual ) unorganized & unconvincing.
Bad news for the Defense Attorney. the "It's not fair" appeal won't gain any traction in appellate court. he's going to have to show how and if her rights were violated, and personally I didn't see that. State Police were overly accomodating...3 interviews to give her the chance to tell the real story. Wonder how many other suspects get three interviews before being arrested? She refused a translator repeatedly so the whining about "no hablo inglais" is going to fall flat. She wrote her timeline in English. Most of her family members speak better than average English. So I guess Shoenhorn will be left to appeal the factual evidence of video surveillance, and cell phone data neither of which can be tampered with. Good luck with that!
Her attorney did her a disservice. Instead of advising her to tell all that she knew, her level of involvement, he spent most of his time objecting, and deflecting to people who had already been vetted by the state police, and not suspects. Attorney claims he had been working on the case for Michelle for four years. Seriously? And in all that time it never occurred to him to try a different angle, to work a deal with prosecutors? I guess he enjoyed the big checks from the fees he charged the family, rather than effectively representing his client
it is clear she was up to no good on the multiple trips going back and forth to 80 mountain road and the fires multiple times every time she went back to jefferson
That evidence sealed the deal for me. I was initially skeptical about the Conspiracy charge, but after I saw that, I knew she was involved on the front end of the crime
The absence of evidence does not mean there wasn’t any evidence. The truck was detailed and the garage was thoroughly cleaned. Those two acts are factual events and are evidence of the actions following the criminal act. They found nothing in 80 Mountain Spring road because the place was cleaned and cleared and then dumped in trash bins along Albany Avenue.

Now MT is putting her hands on her face like she’s praying. And there’s a heart pin on the cuff of her sweater. She is playing games with the court. Trying to use psychological manipulation to appear that she is innocent. An innocent person doesn’t need to play games with the jury to convince them of anything. It appears throughout this trial that she is manipulative. She has also shown that she is a good liar. She turned her laptop so the people in the courtroom could see the sealed document. That is very disrespectful towards the judge and the law of the courtroom. She hasn’t been acting like an innocent person would.
Yes her laptop stunt is yet another display of her arrogance. She thought she was smarter than the investigators, she wasn't . Even though the judge clearly stated the document was sealed, Miss "Si Si " with the translator, defied his order. Is she going to use the language barrier BS at her Contempt hearing ? She's a real piece of 💩
Sean McGuinness presented an excellent, common sense, concise, and factual closing argument. I've watched many criminal trials, and I say without a doubt he is the best! It is glaringly clear that he truly cares for the victim and their family and seeks nothing but justice! Excellent!
I’m sure there are hundreds of thousands of people who hate their current partners ex and especially one that’s in a nasty custody case. Idk if this lady is guilty but you’ve got to give it to her for recommending therapy to fotus fotis (?) and jennifer, as the sate opined
I'll contend she was the catalyst that sparked Fotis to kill Jennifer. No doubt she whined to Fotis nightly about having to leave the home when his kids came, how his divorce wasn't final. If he wasn't a psycho madman previously, Miss " Si Si" pushed him over the edge
He was all over the place. Trying to still implicate Fotis's former employee. Really? At this late date, that's all you have? I would remind the attorney that his deflection tactics were a big fail. The state presenting their closing argument in chronological order, explaining their rationale, that makes perfect sense to me. " Miss EH " with her multiple stories and chapters of lies, yeah not buying it.
The defence have had several years to plan and gather evidence for MT defence. To have their experts testify was laughable. Objection after objection. Drawing out witnesses testomies with inane questions it was painful to watch .
Guilty, such horrible people, at least one of them is off the earth. So sad 5 children lost their mother to murder by their father, then the father commits suicide. Horrible, horrible man and his girlfriend.
Wow! The prosecution did an outstanding job arguing the obvious guilt of MT. The defense attorney looked like he had his tail in between his legs when it was over. Bravo!
MT knew the hate FD had for Jennifer. MT most likely knew of FD need for Jennifer's family money considering his financial status at the time (not repaying the loan...). Just the way MT had the sealed document, on the laptop in open view, speaks volumes. Arrogant, sinister...
Michelle Troconis knew everything was going to happen and helped the monster on May 24th. This was the reason for their cheerful toast in the evening of May 23rd. She had to be desperate to want this evil monster to be in her life. Did she not believe the same ending would happen to end her life. "Amicable" divorce, said by her defense attorney, was either a joke or sarcasm. They knew, with his horrific temper, was not about to get his children. Everything his employee, Pawell, said was 100% believable. Fotis was a coward, first waiting for his small wife to return from dropping off her children and next, unable to face a trial and punishment for murder, took the easy way out, sitting in his car, starting it and breathing. The defense attorney stating, as a contractor, discarding "trash" in many public trash cans, is laughable. I wonder the number of times he had previously done that. If she's not found guilty, our justice system has dropped so low, it's difficult to imagine.
I completely agree with you especially about the trash bags/illegal dumping!! Why would these two "hoity toity" jerks drive 12-13 miles EACH way, to a BAAADD neighborhood, and I mean bad! To dump all this "stuff?" Any halfway decent contractor would have a dumpster at 80 Mountain Spring Road. Plus, there were at least 3 other Starbucks closer!! So again, why head to this bad neighborhood, under the ruse of getting coffee, when they could have driven 1.5 miles each way to Starbucks on zroute 4? Or even the Starbucks near Russell Speeders?? Or, well you get it... I live in the area where these people live/lived. I've studied this case from DAY 1. Because it was on the news non stop after it happened. Us locals especially want justice for Jennifer!! Hits so close to home. 😢
Agree totally. And not only for the sake of those parentless 5 children, but if this chameleon is set free, it's only a matter of time before there's another married, rich man with a missing wife
@@AnitaH-r3f The "married rich men" have the commitment with their wives, not the mistresses. None of this BS would be happening if women would just decenter males!
I know the verdict is in, but I'm just watching the defence's argument now and I cannot believe that part of their argument is that we don't know /for sure/ that Fotis was directly responsible for Jennifer's death. They want us to believe that it can't be proven that *he* caused her death so, in turn, Michelle is not guilty of conspiring with him. C'mon man... He was responsible and she helped him try to establish an alibi with her actions...and the rest of the charges flow from there.
I can't believe some of the things the defense attorney said. Did he really think that telling us Michelle and Fotis had more in common than Fotis and Jennifer would make us have warm and fuzzy feelings for his client? She is running a successful business in the US but then somehow in her interviews when caught in lies there is a language barrier?
I think she is way more than she's saying but I don't think they had what they needed to prove it.... Ok i lied.... Once he went back over the detail from that morning knowing that Fotis wasnt home..... There is NO way she didnt know where and what he was really doing that morning. And if she didnt know b4 hand what he was going to do she would have been horrified and terrified and would have told PD that she was scared and neeeded help
I feel the same way. I don't know if the evidence is there to prove she conspired with Fotis to commit murder, which is the big one. However, it seems like she knew after the fact and then my question is, why didn't she go to the authorities! She could have helped solve the case and organized a plea deal. Because she didn't go to the authorites, it seems like she is very guilty right from the start.
Why does she still have FD photo as a screen saver on her laptop? If she is innocent and finds out the man she is dating killed his wife, wouldn’t she want to distance herself from him? I think she is guilty, but not too sure how the jury will sway 🤷♀️
Well done State… great Job … Quilty!! Justice for the Mother of 5 Children, and Family.🙏🏻 There is a prober that said… a Lair is cough quicker than a thief! That goes well for the Defendant!
Correct- who wants to be a defense lawyer, especially when you know the client is guilty. I assume that's why her original lawyer disappeared. He had a reputation to uphold, a 40 yr. career, he wasn't going to ruin that because of some South American adulteress
Here it is a month later and I'm rewatching the closing arguments. This time however I couldn't help but notice how upset the defense attorney was... I swear to the point of almost crying from his frustration and humiliation. Had to really suck it up!
What a man Fotis was, unalived himself to leave Michelle to take the heat for the murder. Michelle what a fool to help Fotis, she should reported him. Oh well.
They can’t both be the last one, or it would go on forever, they give the final (rebuttal) closing to the state because the state has the burden to prove guilt, the defendant is innocent until proven guilty, the state has to prove guilt.
Omg. The female prosecutor literally lulled me to sleep while driving. She lack vocal variety. Etc for a closing argument. Too bad as a good closing could have swayed jurors on the fence
also they are he was and she is a depraved looking soul who relished in the story of how she was killed also why the zip ties he didn’t kill her right away …not before his vengeance his talk with her unable to move - it is obvious what he did it’s why he could not live with himself - and this trick is character reveled in it . guilty , guilty , guilty …..
Who tried to use Jennifer's phone in the afternoon at the suburban though? Maybe Fotis left her phone there and someone came upon the Suburban and stole the phone at that time?
There is still the Lawyer co-conspirator trial coming up, unless he pleads out. He may have helped Fotis, all along? We’ll see what they accuse him of, it will be interesting.

Excellent!
I really liked how this judge would talk aloud on his objection reasoning and not to mention he sounds like Morgan Freeman
if i was in that jury there is no question invite guilty. she has no language barrier is all an avt
I'd pay good money to be on that jury right now
Yep I think fotis definitely killed jennifer
Yep, and like a good trusty girlfriend, she helped him. What love!
and if she was really innocent she needed to speak - no point when your so guilty .
THIS PROSECUTOR PUT THE ICING ON THE CAKE. I LOVE HIS RENDITION OF REINACTING THE TRUTH ❤
When she lies ( and it’s proven ) you can really sort out her “ayyyyehemmmm” she does it when she lies PERIOD.
yes
Stare did a great job explaining the time line! IMO she knew, she hated Jennifer & wanted her out of the way.
I’m sure there are hundreds of thousands of people who hate their current partners ex and especially one that’s in a nasty custody case. Idk if this lady is guilty but you’ve got to give it to her for recommending therapy to fotus fotis (?) and jennifer, as the sate opined
@@Drae_Dirt I thought the state said Michelle wanted her & fotus to go to therapy?
@@Drae_Dirt Therapy was for MT and Fotis, Jennifer was over that man!
@user-pq9vh4rk1v
Nope, can't put the blame on Michelle for Jennifer's death. Fotis is ultimately responsible for his actions.
Can’t help think defence is poor as he completely mistimed his closing statement! I’d be furious if he was representing me!
As she sits and listens you can tell that she really does think that she will be acquitted.
I think every time she does her annoying “eh” is when she is in the process of fabricating her story
That’s what us Spanish speakers say when we are thinking how to translate something.
My mother was from Argentina and she would do this. An English speaking person would be saying "uhh" instead of "eh".
The very best closing I have watched 👏👏👏 Just wish the camera would’ve shown her entitled face listening to this 🤣
(Zoë’s Mum) the final closing argument by the State was bloody incredible!! Well done young man 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
Incredible prosecution team. They nailed it: she’s guilty as sin she just didn’t get the blood on her hands.
The state prosecutor was in fire with the close arguments 🔥
@@AnitaH-r3f
The "married rich men" have the commitment with their wives, not the mistresses. None of this BS would be happening if women would just decenter males!
Guilty!
Justice for all victims of domestic abuse.
Who is talking in the background, a translator?
Bravo!!!!
I wasn't sure but Mr McGinnis' closing sealed my opinion of guilty & makes me wonder why I didn't put it all together faster
Starts at around 11:11
Awesome closing , of course she is guilty
Why does she still have FD photo as a screen saver on her laptop? If she is innocent and finds out the man she is dating killed his wife, wouldn’t she want to distance herself from him? I think she is guilty, but not too sure how the jury will sway 🤷♀️
Simply brilliant closing by final prosecutor...
Well done State… great Job … Quilty!!
Justice for the Mother of 5 Children, and Family.🙏🏻
There is a prober that said… a Lair is cough quicker than a thief!
That goes well for the Defendant!
Has the jury come back or is this not done yet following from Australia rip Jennifer that mt is a evil woman I feel she is guilty for sure tho
Amazing job....
Ask Michelle if it was worth it. Fotus is dead and she is left holding the bloody bag. Literally.
It's NEVER worth it when it comes to males!
I LOVE HIS ANALOGY, THAT'S SO PERFECT, 3 SCRIPTS
Is it on yet?
Neither does the defense attorney 😢😢😢
She wont even make eye contact b4 deciding her fate. Man i would may eye contact wuth esch one thru out
Defense did a good job with what he had…imagine defending her?’! He made the most of it…still…she’s GUILTY…
Correct- who wants to be a defense lawyer, especially when you know the client is guilty. I assume that's why her original lawyer disappeared. He had a reputation to uphold, a 40 yr. career, he wasn't going to ruin that because of some South American adulteress
@@AnitaH-r3fSo true!
What's all the talking going on in the background?
Here it is a month later and I'm rewatching the closing arguments. This time however I couldn't help but notice how upset the defense attorney was... I swear to the point of almost crying from his frustration and humiliation. Had to really suck it up!
Who's talking during this closing statement? Very distracting.
Why does the State get to divide their closing argument and the Defense does not?
The burden of proving Michelle is guilty falls on the State so they get the last word.
He chose to take the whole hour hisself i think he was wrong he messed up
It's a shame the jury couldn't do a round of applause after the prosecutors closing arguments abt the 30+ "coincidences" against MT !! 👏
Male prosecuting attorney is a pretty effective speaker.
Bravo 👏🏽 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽Mr McGinnis
Guilty #
What a man Fotis was, unalived himself to leave Michelle to take the heat for the murder. Michelle what a fool to help Fotis, she should reported him. Oh well.
The police found nothing but wood on the fireplace, theyhad it analized....so why are they using the fires in such a shady way??
If you think setting 3 different fires on a warm day is normal, what can I tell you!
Evidence was burned in there. There wouldn't be DNA hanging around the fireplace. It was burnt
Nothing implies guilt quite like her greaseball accomplice treating himself to a dirt nap.
This audio is terrible! All the nonstop background talking
Godbless this...court may find true justice ...fair and thurthful lord
Why does the state get to talk again but the defense doesn’t i don’t thank that’s fair at all!!
They can’t both be the last one, or it would go on forever, they give the final (rebuttal) closing to the state because the state has the burden to prove guilt, the defendant is innocent until proven guilty, the state has to prove guilt.
That's how court system is I'm glad cause that defense attorney needed straightening out on a few things 😮😅
Because the burden of proof is on the prosecution.
That guy on the bike had the Same style book bag Michelle has been wearing in court!
Michelle doesn’t look very happy 😢……
Omg. The female prosecutor literally lulled me to sleep while driving. She lack vocal variety. Etc for a closing argument. Too bad as a good closing could have swayed jurors on the fence
#justiceforjenniferdulosherchildrenandfamily
This guy was incredible, I can watch this over and over. It was powerful and he really fought for Jennifer and won ❤️❤️❤️❤️
She’s going DOWNNNNN. MT will wish it was her instead of JD that’s 6 feet under ground.
also they are he was and she is a depraved looking soul who relished in the story of how she was killed also why the zip ties he didn’t kill her right away …not before his vengeance his talk with her unable to move - it is obvious what he did it’s why he could not live with himself - and this trick is character reveled in it .
guilty , guilty , guilty …..
The judge is played by Morgan Freeman 🧡
Love it.. those were my thoughts Lol
Guilty. How much time do you think she will get?
Igot confused with all the vehicles 🚗 involved in the murder
This judge was great in this case
Dead man’s trial. Fotis took truck to car wash. They confiscated Fotis’s phone so he used Michelles phone number
Bravo🎉🎉🎉🎉
Very good defence argument🤷♀️
Did she burn body?
Who tried to use Jennifer's phone in the afternoon at the suburban though? Maybe Fotis left her phone there and someone came upon the Suburban and stole the phone at that time?
There is still the Lawyer co-conspirator trial coming up, unless he pleads out. He may have helped Fotis, all along? We’ll see what they accuse him of, it will be interesting.
Giilty or Not Guilty:
Wow
Teenage girl will be without a mother because her mother was riding around in a truck, picking up someone at a car wash and going to Starbucks. Yes, I totally emphasize with Jennifer and family.
Michelle lost big time because of involvement with a male. All women need to reset their mindset and decenter males!
Dead man’s trial connecting Michelle. Innocent
