ʻŪniki kumu hula (formal traditional succession kumu hula), Miho Kauanoeanuhea Shinohara
I have studied hula under Kumu Pattye Kealohalani Wright in Hawaiʻi for over 15 years, and in 2022 I officially took the ʻūniki (traditional succession graduation exam) and received the very honorable title of Kumu Hula.
The hula I teach is inherited from Kumu Kea and has a history of more than 100 years. Learning hula is not just learning dance, but also learning Hawaiʻi culture, how to relate to nature as a human being, and the true ALOHA spirit. Hawaiʻian culture holds the secret of "natural living" that people have forgotten in their busy daily lives and modern life. By having the ALOHA spirit, you can liberate yourself and live more easily.

Kumu Pattye Kealohalani Wrightの元Hawaiʻiで15年間以上Hulaを学び、2022年に正式にʻūniki(伝統継承者卒業試験)を受け、Kumu Hulaというとても名誉なタイトルを頂戴しました。
私がお教えするHulaはKumu Keaから受け継いだものであり、その歴史は100年以上の伝統を持つものです。Hulaを学ぶことは踊りを学ぶだけではなく、Hawaiʻiの文化、そして人間としての自然との関わり方を学ぶこと、真のALOHAの心を学ぶことを意味します。Hawaiʻi文化には忙しい毎日や近代生活において人々が忘れてしまっている「自然な生き方」の極意があります。ALOHAの心を持つことで、自分自身を解放し、より楽に生きることができるようになります。人生をもっと楽しみ、みんなでその楽しみを共有できればと思い、フラを教えています。
