She had heard of machine guns and literally thought that they were self operating. She wanted so badly to be right but I had just proved that it’s the person, not the tool. Inanimate objects can’t be evil, only peoples hearts, and you can’t legislate evil.

I have a deep respect for the damage a gun can do in untrained hands, but in the 30 years of shooting i have done, I have not even once had a close call or accident. A gun can be a deadly weapon, but a motivated person can turn just about anything into a deadly weapon.

Texans all over the place told me I was no longer a Coloradoan because now that I was in Texas I was officially adopted as a Texan!!! To this day even though I did not stay livin in Texas I still feel like I'm still a Texan at heart!!! I love Texas!!!
