- Here's how to replace your Honda Accord 2001 4 Door power window regulator and motor. This was fairly difficult for us since the window was stuck in the up position which made the bolts impossible to reach. It required two people for putting the motor and regulator back in since the other person had to adjust the window into the right position. The whole process took about 1.5 hours. This video does not cover removing the door panel. There are plenty of other videos that do cover that.
If you can do this yourself, you'll save a ton of money. The part was about $35 on eBay. I'm guessing it's at least $100 to replace at an autoshop since they have to charge for labor as well.

Slowly becoming the only person in my family house that knows how cars work primarily through RUclips videos and local repair people giving advice haha!
Thanks so much for the help! :)
Man your a boss for this ima do mine this week when it arrives! Will I need a extra hand for this?
I definitely recommend getting help if you can. Just someone to raise and lower the window a bit if you need it.
Good video. Unfortunately for me, I have to replace the entire rear left regulator except for the motor because I cannot find the window track guide anywhere! Not even honda carries that small part.
Excellent video 👍🏼
Idk why you don’t explain how to disconnect the harness power to the actual regulator
First, thanks for watching!
Second, the harness power? Do you mean the connector from the replacement part to what's on the door? If so, good catch. I didn't explain it because I'm pretty sure every other video on RUclips explained that part. Also, if you're this far in and able to get the door panel off, I figure you're smart enough to be able to release that little plug. It's definitely not something for people who aren't mechanically inclined.
As stated at the beginning of the video, this video was because there was only 1 other (I think) that showed how to replace this part with the window all the way up. All the others had the window in the down position. So this was really about releasing those bolts and how to get the part out of the door and then put the replacement back in.
Speak up dude
Thanks for watching! If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
