I made this design today while we are stuck inside due to snow. I wrapped a stone that has a bit of sentimental value to me. The stone is called Helenite which is a man made stone using the ashes from Mt St Helen's after it blew. I am not sure how much I enjoyed working with 32 gauge wire. It slipped a lot thru my fingers and the weave is so small it that it is hard to appreciate. But it is a nice design that worked perfectly for my little keepsake

Can you tell me the size of your teardrop stone? I'm assuming if you're using a bigger stone, you'd need a longer base wire?
Hi, this stone is 20mm x 15mm or 6/8 of an inch x 1/2 an inch.
