Wow, I learned so much. The info about letting the fusing cure made so much sense. I’ve made quite a few leashes with WPC recently. No ironing, just lots of clips!
PUL can be ironed. I fuse interfacing to it all the time. It was made for diapers and can be washed and dried. The holes from sewing are closed by putting it in a hot dryer. It is autoclavable.

The / to the stitching is natural. The top and bottom thread twist to make a stitch. If the type of fabric(water resistant) does not have a place for the twist to bury into, the / will show.

If I have problems birthing a bag made of water proof canvas , I use a blow drier to make the canvas more pliable.

how do you make sure the seems don't leak. i'm having that issue.

I bought a heat press and now my interfacing is not moving it’s made a difference big time.
