It’s sort of the point to leave the hexagonal edges :)
@@VictoriaMagrath It certainly does look cool and different, but with time you will find that the edge of the tiles will accumulate dirt and when you clean it you will ruin the wall paint. Just letting you know from experience. Also, if you decide to get more tiles in the future you might not find the exact ones. Only some well meant advice.
Carolina Ochoa semi gloss or gloss are easy to clean. There’s paint meant for places like bathrooms and kitchens.

I love the Ensuite Bathroom. The way you have designed it is gorgeous. It is fun, dynamic, and welcoming to walk into I can see why you are so tickled over it. Your fashion grace is spot on and reflects who you both are. I love everything you have done in your home and I so enjoy these design tours. It gives me some great ideas for my own home as I like to change it up about every 2 years to keep it fresh, clean and me. After all, we are continuously evolving so, why shouldn't the home evolve too. Dance and enjoy life. Thank you.

I love how you know exactly what you want. You make a decision and stick with it instead of buying and buying. Another great room.
Use a mist first in your skincare routine after cleansing, using it afterwards does absolutely nothing because the ingredients can't penetrate through all those layers of products whereas it's good to use it before because it gets your skin damp and your skin will better absorb products, especially those with hyaluronic acid, when dampened first. Utterly obsessed with those teal tiles, very nearly my dream bathroom!! I love the way you've done the edge of the tiles, takes advantage of the unique shape! And omg Nighthawks is the background on my laptop and has been for years!!!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful new home with us, I always get excited to see what’s been done since last time. I have to share something with you. A couple of years ago we were in Gulf Shores, Alabama and a sea turtle came up onto the sand near the house our family had rented for vacation and laid 150 eggs. It was amazing! We have pictures of her as she was going back into the water and the eggs she laid. They contact the proper authorities to come out and they actually moved the eggs further back and roped off the area so no one could disturb them. Have a blessed week 😊💛

I have a gorgeous big sink like yours but regret sacrificing bench space to pop my make-up and skin care products while I am using them. It drives me a big nuts diving into a draw between each step and if I do rest them in the sink it is pretty much guaranteed that my hubby will want to use the sink at that very moment.
Loving your house updates! English houses are so different to Australian ones, so I am loving it all.
I only use one brand, have done for 16/17 years & on Friday I was told I look 30.....I’m 42 😂😂😂 made my bloody day cause I looked dreadful! I love the bathroom & the tiles it’s different & as much as I like clean lines, it represents your style & creative side & it’s not just the usual boring bathroom x

Hi guys I love that bench you n Alex put together what a good idea for extra sitting without having lots of chairs cramming space. Love all the finish materials you have chosen, that tub is amazing. I do agree with a few others, the tile looks unfinished. If you completed the tile on the wall behind the mirror it would look more finished.

I understand about the towel. I have my own bathroom, with my own face towels. I wash my face towels every few days, like I change my pillow cases every other day. In between I reverse my pillow case. I am like you about my facial skin, very picky. I jade roll every day. I also use a Clarasonic brush every day, once a day. I love your bathroom, it is gorgeous and cozy. We recently did over our Master Bathroom. Our Master does not have a tub because we just don't ever use it. We have a large frame-less shower now, and only one sink. Which is fine with me, because I actually use the main bathroom, which is larger and has a tub. On the whole, your home is coming together beautifully. So many nice touches. Enjoy. BTW, I have that plaid top from JJill in America and those earrings, too. What a coincidence. It is not cold enough for me to wear the top yet, it is from last year. I live in the Boston, Ma area. Fall is beautiful right now, it is just getting cool. The trees are all gorgeous with their colors. Time to get that plaid top out of storage soon. :-)
You should put fairy lights in the dining room area when you have your dinner parties. It’s my favorite room in your house!

You have the loveliest skin! Beautiful bathroom too. The tiles look really modern but they do end suddenly. A more gradual tapering may be easier on the eye.
Your en suite bathroom is gorgeous. I absolutely love, love, looove those tiles. Two small honest recommendations for you, coming from personal experience: complete the whole wall with the tiles if you can, and get a mirror with a cabinet for your skincare. ¡Saludos!
You shouldn't really keep your skincare in your bathroom, it gets too hot in there for it.
Love the bathroom with the silver hardware and the tub is gorgeous! The bench compliments the table so much! I just love how everything’s coming together 💕
Double tap is so strange! We don't have them in the US, except in very old homes. But I love it all so much, the teal green tiles are incredible, it reminds me of a mermaid!
could get those inserts from Ikea for the drawers in the bathroom to separate things and stops things moving about they are great. I have my top drawer in the sliding wardrobes with make up and skincare using them xxxx

I love this bathroom so much, you have such an imaginative mind. The tiles look great I love how they sweep under the mirror and that mirror is beautiful! Also where is that coffee mug from please it’s gorgeous?
The ensuite bathroom looks lovely, I’m just not keen on the little white laundry basket in the corner. Because the sink unit matches the green tiles, that extra white unit looks mismatched (to my eye). I think if both units were the same colour (or if the bath was longer, as Alex suggested) it would look more put together. I love the hexagonal tiles, they’ve inspired me in my own bathroom renovation planning.
I know you don't want to reveal exactly where your house is (rightly so!!) but are you in a developed neighborhood or a bit more of a spacious area with larger lots? Your house feels so grand and lovely I keep picturing it in a more rural/country estate type setting and I'm probably way off! Also I adore your dining room area. How lovely to have that feel of being outside while dining and entertaining!

I always had a face towel! I’m always surprised when people don’t. If for whatever reason I use the same towel as the rest of the body, I tend to break out.

Beautiful bathroom. You should get a squidgy to wipe the shower down after use. Stops the limescale build up on the glass and keeps it looking lush x

I think your bathroom looks lovely. If I'd change anything, it would maybe be the tiles, I'd add some some more so that they end next to the mirror and the door into more irregular lines, but I guess that's just a question of taste.
Oh those Emerald/Teal tiles and the layout - Full on design style and I love it! (yes - I saw the IG "... it doesn't look finished..." comment. She'll be wanting that layout in her bathroom in 5 years when you've moved onto something else maybe - but cant really imagine THAT as they're perfectly timeless uhh my beating heart! hehehe). Your cistern hung low like that is 'oh NICE' and the Immortal cream is worth every single penny!!

I have a Royal Doulton toilet and cistern with a fish claw enamel roll top bath that my husband seen in a garden 35 years ago when we were 20 and just married. He asked the occupiers for it, they charged him £50. We have unplumbed it and taken it to every house we have lived in BUT now that I have seen your silver cistern I feel a change coming on, I’m in love with it. I think that cistern with my Victorian suite would really bring it a new lease of life. It’s just lovely watching you both starting your married life together, health and happiness to you both. Such a lovely couple. 💖. Edit.. when I said fish claw 😂😂😂 I meant fish shape feet😂😂. Fish claws, that would be a first😂😂😂😂. 💖

Oh my god I cant believe you're getting comments about colors or how cramped people think things look....I honestly think it's because most people don't own houses anymore. Getting a house is expensive and housewares and remodels are SO EXPENSIVE and a lot of people must not realize that your whole house isnt 'sponsored'. I love your house, you guys are doing a fantastic job.

Not sure why you referred to your face halo as a little wash cloth, unless you received it in PR and forgot the name? Its a great product and you should talk about how effective it is, great for sensitive skin (like mine, I can’t stand make up removal wipes) and how eco friendly they are!
