Keeper is the one position you need a top top player in, it makes such a difference to even an average team, look at BVB? Kobel is some keeper if we could get him it would set us up for years to come, honestly what are we going to win with Ramsdale? We need a monster in goal that will give the team leadership, and belief that even when we play bad we can win because they still have to beat our keeper, look at Allison, Ederson, and Kobel it's the one signing we can't skimp on.

Dubravka has really highlighted how vital a proper class goalkeeper is! Dubravka is 💩 has cost us so many games. He can't keep the simplest shots out at times as proven against Man U recently plus in plenty other games this season. Pope is great but his shoulder is a massive worry. We have to invest well in GK and we're set for years.
I worry about popes injured shoulder, he has been brilliant but if he cannot recover fully we will need another keeper.
Also Dubravka has always known he’s getting the boot so probs a lot on his mind. Manure didn’t work out so…

He isn’t being sold for 15m and was very good when first at Arsenal. He also isn’t coming here to be number 2 but I’m with you that we need to look at a keeper. There has been a drop off with Pope being out. If we get in Europe we need three good keepers and I could see us keeping dubs as number 3 for a season whether he likes it or not.
Maybe more likely a could young keeper coming in to challenge pope and to hopefully succeed him in a few seasons.

I have 0 faith in Ramsdale between the sticks. A journeyman backup for Pope and a younger prospect we are developing for the GK roster. If we are bringing in an expensive GK it should be the heir apparent for Pope and the feature GK for years to come. But who's to say what will happen?

NO, we need a good keeper, somebody like KOBEL mind you he has just extended his contract till 2028 so it would cost a fair bit, but im sure we will have our eyes on a foreign keeper that wont cost the earth
If we are looking at Ramsdale Arsenal way use this to trade us with Isak which is not acceptable to me.
Dislocations are a real worry for a keeper. Could be a repeat injury. Need a quality back up/rival.

I’m not a huge fan of Ramsdale but if we could get him in for that fee plus a considerable pay cut for his weekly wage, then I’ll take it.

That is the level of player we are targetting. £15m is a decent price but it's not going to progress us as a club.
We need to target a world class goal keeper, Neither Pope nor Ramsdale are world class.
